Prepare project Specific Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, Checklists, and related procedures in coordination with QMS.
Involved in handling procurement activities relating to contract and sub-contract in accordance with company procedures and procurement department activities.
Supervise and approve construction activities and co-ordinate various aspects of project construction including inspections, material submissions and working drawings from contractors and process documentation as required.
Undertake reporting interaction with other departments and clients to assure production schedule and deliveries are met.
Technical assistance and coordination with other related departments and disciplines for specific electrical issue.
Responsible for providing technical assistance to the site supervisor with respect to equipment erection/installation, assembly of parts (esp. Power Transformer, 132kv GIS and its LCC, 11KV metal clad switchgears.)
Review Material Submittal and its compliance statement before forwarding to consultant for approval.
Implement a quality management and control programs for the project.
Monitor and control all inspection activities on site related to the installation, testing and Pre-commissioning of electrical equipments/system, fire alarm and fire fighting system.
Coordinate with clients for third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
Participates and coordinates the Factory Acceptance Test, pre-commissioning and commissioning of some specific equipment when relevant.
Co-ordination for internal quality audit and closing the NCR's in co-ordination with Quality Manager.
Report to the Project Manager any deficiencies in the operation of quality system and its control measures.
Accountable for supervising contractor's work that is in progress, inspecting work, reporting problems and preventing accidents occurring as a result of negligence, by enforcing safety standards on the work site.
Carry out daily checks on contractor's staff and work carried out during the previous day in order to ensure compliance with prescribed contractual specifications.
Perform insulation resistance test for Low voltage power and control cable, Hi-Pot test for High voltage cable/MV/HV switchgear, Functional test of scheme for MCC, LV/MV motor solo run test, and Circuit breaker test.
Participate in development of as built- drawings/documentation.
Preparation of job packages for the Installation, Testing and Pre-Commissioning of equipments and cables to cell, HAL 3000 Pot control System, Pneumatic Cubicles, Process Field Interface, Current Measurements, Process Service Interface, and Communication Servers.
Preparation of cable schedule as per approved job packages and follow-up for the installation and testing and prepare necessary records prior to functional testing.
Interface, planned and Coordinate with other EPC contractor for daily activities of E & I installation of equipments and cable to individual pot cell.
Functional Testing and automation of individual pots as witness by the client representatives.
Final As-built Drawing, documentation and hand-over.
- Monitor the effective implementation of installation procedure in accordance with the approved engineering standards, manuals, and particular to Quality Assurance manual, and the effective utilization of tools and equipment.
Prepare Project Quality Plan (PQP), Quality System procedures, Quality Control Plan (QCP) Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) in accordance with the applicable quality system standards and or Contractual specification requirements.
In-charge in the inspection of electrical & instrumentation installation, test status, preparation of records, site handling including identification of electrical and instrument materials.
Implement quality assurance/quality control through SABIC, SASREF, and SAUDI ARAMCO engineering standards/procedures and documentation for every aspect related to the project.
Always review the design and construction procedure, specifications to attain the expected quality and accurate results of the project.
Demonstrate through working knowledge of electrical/instrument standards and installation including materials, method, specifications and hazardous locations identification for oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical industries.
Perform all the necessary inspection for incoming materials, intended for electrical and instrumentation works / installation, calibration, loop testing in order to verify its conformity with specification order or applicable standard.
Maintain good working relationships to clients, vendor and subcontractors engineering representatives.
Provide assistance in review and approval of sub-contractor method of statement.
Supervise the erection of electrical equipments/machineries as per the OEM approved installation procedures and method.
Prepare Electrical Energization Package and Instrument Loop Folder and follow-up for its completion.

Finalized as-built drawing and maintained documents traceability throughout the life of the project.
