Manage the offshore drilling and workover engineering team of PDVSA offshore. Well design, engineering, planning, time and cost estiamates and purchase for offshore drilling projects, including geopression estimates, casing desing, directional plan, bit and BHA selection, drilling parameters, hydraulics calculations, drilling fluid selection, casing running and cementing plans. Development and Exploration offshore wells drilling projects. Fields of North of Paria and the Gulf of Venezuela. My duties include the team formation sending them to necessary courses to their career development.
Supervised offshore well drilling, completion or workover project planning, leading team of engineers of different roles in well drilling and completion desing, services companies technicals representatives and administration crew, reporting to the Drilling Engineering General Manager, in offshore exploration and development wells in fields on waters of the north of Paria at east and Gulf of Venezuela at west.
Supervised operationals well drilling, completion or workover project teams in until 3 rigs simultaneously, leading teams of driling, design, completion, geologists and reservoir engineers, companymen, services companies representatives and administration crew, reporting to the drilling superintendent, in HPHT deep wells of fields in the north of Monagas state.
Engineering support of well drilling rig operations in HPHT deep wells of north of Monagas state fields. Planning and executing casing running and cementing, bit behavior evaluation, running completion, well head selection and instalation, directional drilling, well testing, solving operational problems of well control, loss circulation, stuck pipe, side track, fishing, follow time statistics, bill and costs control of rig and services companies, manage of software of directional drilling, casing design, BHA and bit selection, hydraulics simulators. Supervising rig operations complying with the program of drilling, completion or workover plan, even rigless jobs (coiled tubbing and snubbing) keeping standars of safety and environment care in fields of north Monagas state. Planning operations as well as coordinating the provision of services, equipment and materials on time, supervising operations of BHA design and assembly, bit evaluation, drilling parameters, logging, running casing and liners, cementing, drilling fluids properties, well control, string trip, rig up and rig down, well evaluation, completion, BOP asembly and test.
