• I secured the Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) certification for our products. I took the lead on the project, coordinated all necessary testing and handled all communication with the authorities,
which resulted in a successful certification.

Work accomplishment:
As a pioneer in the company I have develop and formulate concrete admixtures based on Polycarboxylate technology & Napthalene polymers, concrete repair mortar, precision non shrink grouts, tile adhesives, surface treatment products, industrial flooring, waterproofing, polymer bonding agent, curing compound, screed, plaster products, cement additives & grinding aids.
Formulated and Designed Non Shrink Grout for Barakah Nuclear Power Plant Project, Abu Dhabi UAE.
Prepare concrete mix design to our customers -Self compacting concrete, triple blend concrete, piling concrete and slag concrete supplied to Roads & Bridges projects for RTA & Dubai Municipality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to the Managing Director for the day to day running of the QC laboratory, new product design and formulation, quality control of high standard liquid admixtures and Dry Powder products.
• Responsible for the whole research and development process starting from product concept, product requirement, preparing prototype samples laboratory testing and final approval to invest in the developed product.
• Prepare compliance statement of our products against projects specifications, as well as the technical comments from the Consultants.
• Product modification and introducing new products after comparison with competitors’ products after successful field trials.
• Independently develop low range, mid-range & high range PC based admixtures products according to customer specifications.
• Review & update existing products so that they meet or exceed the performance characteristics of competitor's products (benchmarking techniques)
• Supervise Quality control testing for Concrete Admixtures, Grinding Aids, Repair Products & Precision Grouts, Surface Treatment Products, Industrial Flooring Products, Tile Adhesive & Grouts, Bonding Agent & Waterproofing Products.
• Liaise with third-party laboratories and standardization bodies for testing, ISO certifications, DCL Certifications and Equipment calibrations.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with external stakeholders.

Quality Management Representative (QMR)
My main responsibility as QMR is to ensure that the ISO 9001:2015 QMS processes are established, implemented, and maintained. This may involve review and planning of Management Review, Internal Audits, External Audits, Quality Policy & Objective, Customer Feedback & Complain, Analysis & Evaluation of Products, Risk & Opportunities, Evaluation & Surveillance Audit of Suppliers, Training of Staff, External Providers, Non-Conformity & Corrective Action, Calibration of Equipment’s, and Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP) from different processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

PILING: In charge in Quality Control Inspection of piling works for 19 land bridges deck substructure, a total of 416 piles, maximum depth of piles are 36 meter and diameter of 900 mm & 1200 mm, main steel 15x32 mm diameter bar and helical 12 mm diameter bar. Carry out QC Inspection on Bridge Piling w/c included bar bending schedule, concrete test slump & cubes, rock breaking for pile cap, pile diameter, pile breaking, length of casing, casing verticality, elevation from top of casing, standing ground water level, socket length, working platform elevation, Cut off level, Pile top level, pile toe level, actual tip level, depth from top of casing, top of steel elevation and tremie pipe.

BRIDGES: In charge in Quality Control Inspection for 19 Land Bridges Deck Substructure in Terminal, Commercial and Midfield Area. A total of 1.355 linear meter of reinforced concrete multiple cell box type deck slabs. QC Inspections includes blinding concrete, protection of concrete, pier footing, pier column, abutment beam, deck slab, abutment column, formworks, MSE walls, reinforcement steel, pot bearing, embedded materials, concrete pour, curing of concrete, post tensioning, concrete new jersey barriers and removal of formwork.

WATERPROOFING WORKS- BRIDGES, MANHOLES & CULVERT:
Supervise and oversee quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout all waterproofing stages - Deck Bridge, Pier Columns & Abutment, Underside of Pile caps, Cast in Place Concrete, Manholes & Culverts.
Prepare, review, and update Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and checklists for waterproofing works.
Manage material submissions for waterproofing material such as Rubberized Bitumen waterproofing, Self-Adhesive membrane, APP/SBS Torch applied membrane, Protection board, Primer, Polyurethane, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) & Epoxy Coatings.
Raise and review Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs)
Coordinate with third-party laboratories for testing and verification of materials.

ROADS:
Performs civil and structural tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, and concrete coring.

QATAR PETROLEUM CULVERT: Ensure that all QA/QC inspections & procedures relevant to the construction of box culvert for the protection of QP pipeline are being followed. Carry out inspection for cast in place foundation, retaining walls and pre cast roof slab.

PRECAST PRESTRESSED CONCRETE
Review structural drawings, setting up casting beds/molds, and ensuring proper duct placement for post-tensioning.
Supervise placing, tensioning, and anchoring prestressing steel (tendons) to specified forces using hydraulic jacks and pumps.
Supervise pouring concrete, finishing surfaces, and ensuring proper curing for optimal strength.
Conducting QC inspections, checking formwork, verifying grout consistency, and ensuring compliance with standards specifications.
Maintaining equipment (saws, forklifts, jacks), rigging, ensuring proper guarding, and following all safety regulations.
QC Inspection of Grouting (Post-Tensioning)

PLANNING, DOCUMENTATION, SITE MONITORING & INSPECTION
Review Contract Specifications, drawings and Project Quality Plan (PQP)
Prepare relevant work activity Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Method Statement, Inspection Request (IRs), Material Approval Submittals, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Reports (CARs), Test Report & Certificates and Final Quality Record/Handover File.
Follow up and monitor sequence of construction works according to relevant Method Statement and mock-up sample.

Duties & Responsibilities
•Responsible for handling technical matters related to concrete supply like tender specifications review, concrete mix design, technical discussion with consultants, compliance with specifications till supply and placement. Process control, Inspection and testing, internal quality audits and training of Q/C personnel.
•Prepare concrete mix design based on “Recommended practice for selecting proportions for normal and heavy-weight concrete (ACI-211.1-74 ) such as durable blend concrete with Heat of hydration control, self compacting concrete, triple blend concrete, high strength concrete, micro silica concrete, plaster mix, screed mix, Bored & CFA piling concrete.
•Preparation of in-house test reports for Concrete & Aggregates Materials Testing Lab.
•Evaluate cube compressive strength test results of concrete (ACI 214 R/BS 5328 Part 4) and provide standard deviation calculation for project site cube test results.
• Assessed concrete strength on site existing structures with the use of Rebound Hammer and Core test in compliance with the requirements of BS 6089.
•Prepare quality control manual and supervision in house testing statistical analysis study and development.
•To ensure project site test reports of all compressive strength and durability test
results (RCP, DIN Permeability, Water Absorption and ISAT) as well as Independent Laboratory and Dubai Municipality test results are recorded for purposes of reference.
• Establish and maintain log of all current mix designs, trial mix, specifications and routine testing schedule of all materials.
•Follow up testing for concrete durability, cement & aggregates, trial mix, concrete
compressive & flexural strength through Independent Laboratory (Al Hai Mukkadam, Al Futtain Bodycote, Fugro, Al Hoty Stanger, Geoscience and Arab Center)
•To prepare/submit contract specification requirements related to concrete & materials for approval of the consultant.

Responsible for day to day running of the Central laboratory, new product
development, introducing new raw materials, inspection and testing of cementitious building repair materials and product improvement for existing products.
•Developmental works of different types of concrete admixtures, polymer based
cementitious repair products & surface treatment products.
•Designing tailor-made formulations for concrete & mortar admixtures, tile adhesives, bonding agent & color joint grouts.
•Carry out laboratory testing for waterproofing products in accordance with ASTM/BS procedures such as solvent free epoxy tank coating, tar epoxy protective coating, soil stabilizer-bonding agent, water & solvent based bituminous protective coatings, bituminous primer and polymer modified cementitious coating.
•Conduct QC testing for cementitious & epoxy repair products & grouts in compliance with the ASTM/BS specification such as Polymer modified structural repair for interior & external concrete surface, High build mortar repair for overhead & vertical concrete, Rapid set cementitious repair for runways, highways, pavements & floor, High performance micro concrete repair for reinforced concrete where large volume
is involved, Non shrink grout for fixing anchors, heavy machinery & jointing of precast elements, Fast setting non shrink grout for rapid fixing of steel bolts & plates in concrete, Rapid set high strength grout for anchoring bolts & railing, High build epoxy resin mortar for repairing concrete columns, beams & roof slab, Epoxy resin low viscosity grout for sealing, grouting, anchoring of concrete, Epoxy resin anchoring & bedding grout and Epoxy resin crack injection system.
•Supervision for the QC testing of Industrial flooring products such as Solvented epoxy floor & walls coating, Solvent free epoxy coating, Self leveling epoxy floor topping, Heavy duty epoxy floor screed, Non-metallic shake on floor hardener.

Duties/Responsibilities:

HIGHWAY & BRIDGES
Ensure that all quality control procedures relevant to the construction of highway & bridges activity are carried out in accordance to the project specifications, method statement/construction procedures & drawing in accordance with the ITP and all test results are adequately documented and reported. QC inspection for Bridges Pre cast type 6 post tensioned girder includes installation of rebar, vertical plumbness of formworks & support and sleeves for intermediate diaphragm beam, abutment, pier, pile extension, capping beam, girder, deck slab, parapet wall, pile head treated, waterproofing system and post tensioning works such as inspection
of installed stressing jack, hydraulic pump, anchor blocks, wedges, finger, spacer, counter block, tendon profile, bearing plate w/ cone, grouting tube and chrome wedges prior for stressing activities.

BORED PILE/SECANT PILE & SHEET PILE:
In charge in QC Inspection of piling works for four concrete deck bridges substructure, a total of 128 piles, maximum depth of piles are 30 meter and diameter of 1200 mm & 1500 mm, main steel 16x32 mm diameter bar and helical 12 mm diameter bar. Carry out QC Inspection on Bridge Piling w/c included pile diameter, standing water level, socket length, length of temporary casing, top of casing level, working platform level, date & time of boring, Cut off level, Pile top level, pile toe level, rock breaking for pile cap, depth from top of casing, length & details of reinforcement, tremie pipe details, soils samples taken and in situ tests carried out, reprofiling of pile
head, epoxy grouts, bentonite slurry & casting of cubes. Witness static load test on pile, dynamic load test and integrity test on all piles.

Duties/Responsibilities:

INSPECTION TEST PLAN (ITP)
Prepare Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for each activity like rebar & formwork, earthwork, concrete pour, waterproofing, post-tensioning, coating/painting, and etc. It shall include Controlling documents, Acceptance criteria, Nature/extent of Inspection, Responsible personnel, Verification document, and Inspection stage.

METHOD STATEMENT (MS)
Review Method Statement (MS) for activity and work and shall be sent to the client or consultant for approval. Work shall be executed with the approved method statement only. Method statement is a procedure with reference to the project specification, standards, complying with material technical data sheet.

MATERIAL APPROVAL REQUEST (MAR)
Prepare Material approval request and submit to the client for approval. To be ensure any material without approval shall not be used, failing in this can lead to non-conformity and demolition of the work.
Regular follow up for the approval of material to prevent any delay in work progress.
Review material technical data sheet reference and vendor list with project specification requirement before submitting MAR.
Material approval shall cover the following details, BOQ, Specification Reference, Compliance statement for the material ref with specifications, Vendor List approval if any available, Technical Data Sheet and MSDS for the material if available, Test reports, Company Profile for the material, Company ISO Certificates and government approval & Previous approval from other projects.

REQUEST FOR INSPECTION (RFI)
Responsible for site inspection, when a site engineer or sub-contractor raises/issues an RFI (Request for Inspection) and also responsible for reviewing the drawing before attending the inspection. Review the RFI that includes all the ITP Checkpoints and descriptions for the work. RFI shall be submitted 24 hours prior to inspection to the Client/Consultant. Carry out inspection first before given notification to the client to avoid any delay in the inspection with the latest approved drawing, survey report, RFI, and test report if any required for inspection.

MATERIAL INSPECTION REQUEST (MIR)
Responsible for the material inspection report. Raise notification to the consultant and client as soon as possible after material receiving. Inspect the material first with the material approval request. Material receive will verify the invoices, batch number & material test report. Receive material shall be approved and in good condition.


ISSUING NCR AND SITE OBSERVATION (NCR)
Responsible to raise NCR and Site observation at site and also responsible to monitor and surveillance of the site without RFI. Any deviation to the specification and drawing shall be noted and notify to the respective site engineer and sub-contractor.
Site observation is issued to the execution team and sub-contractor during ongoing work and can rectify easily without any demolition work. Observation can be given in any minor deviation to the specification.
Non-conformity shall be an issue in any major deviation to the specification and drawing to the sub-contractor and execution engineer.
