Working with transportation suppliers on optimal delivery rate and routing with reasonable
Transit time. Preparing a comparison sheet and seeking reporting Managersapproval.
• Direct andfollow-up with concerned authorities in the factory (Production, Purchase and
dispatch departments) for incoming materials and outgoing finished products ensuring prompt
and timely delivery to customers.
• Coordinating with Freight forwarders to obtain Vessel schedule and sharing confirmation on
the placement dates. Proceeding with the booking and placement of Containers.
• Ensuring proper documentationwhich include - Commercial Invoice, Packing list, Org. Bill of
Lading, Certificate of Origin, Insurance and Fumigation Certificate (if required).
• Arranging for SGS inspection if required (Mostly for African shipments)
• Responsible for planning and tracking the shipment of final products to stay updated.
• Prompt troubleshooting of any glitches in the material shipping, delivery, international freight
transportation
• Ensuring timely payments to Freight forwarders, insurance providers and concerned
government provided cards need to have sufficient funds.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods and make relevant
MIS documents
