DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Senior Subject Specialist:
• Subject Matter Expertise: Clearly state proficiency in the specific subject area(s) you specialize in. This could include specific academic disciplines, technical fields, or industry-specific knowledge.
• Curriculum Development: Ability to design and develop curriculum materials, including lesson plans, training modules, assessments, and learning resources. Expertise in aligning curriculum with learning objectives and incorporating innovative teaching methods.
• Training and Facilitation: Demonstrate skills in delivering engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, or seminars. Ability to adapt to different learning styles, create interactive activities, and foster a positive learning environment.
• Instructional Design: knowledge of instructional design principles and methodologies. Experience in analyzing learning needs, identifying learning outcomes, and designing instructional strategies and materials accordingly.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Able to create and administer assessments to evaluate learning outcomes. To analyze assessment data, provide feedback, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Technology Integration: Proficiency in utilizing educational technologies and learning management systems to enhance instruction and facilitate online or blended learning experiences. Able to include specific software, tools, or platforms according to their proficiency.
• Communication and Presentation: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, deliver engaging presentations, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Showcase experience in providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff, teachers, or trainers. Ability to inspire and motivate others, foster a positive team culture, and facilitate professional development.
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Emphasize the ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and make informed decisions. Enough capacity to adapt to changing circumstances, handle challenges effectively, and think critically to overcome obstacles.
