Customer Service
Welcome customers and proactively approach them offering assistance
Make a continuous effort to have the best sales results for the department
Introduce customers to other departments after having dealt with their needs
Assist in any other section of the shop, which may be under pressure
Ensure the highest standard of customer service and customer care is offered to all customers of Bahrain Duty Free Shops.
Ensure that any customer complaints or problems are dealt with properly as they arise
Process customer’s transactions efficiently, ensuring minimum time spent processing and packing
Highlight and make customers aware of any / all shop promotions
Ensure POS area is fully stocked with items for “Gift with Purchase”; the various sized plastic carrier bags, till rolls etc.
Raise any problems with equipment to the Shift Supervisor
Ensure each customer receives a “thank you for shopping with us”, on completion of every transaction.
Shop Presentation
Ensure the complete, full ranges of stocks are on display at all times
Ensure the merchandise is displayed in an attractive and enticing manner to customers
Keep the merchandise and surrounding area clean and tidy
Store the merchandise in a proper manner so as to avoid breakage or damage
Ensure merchandisers or supervisors are informed when stock replenishment is required.
Cash Register Procedures
Conform with Cash Office procedures and ensure that all keyed information into the POS terminal is done so accurately
Process customer’s transactions quickly and accurately
Handle money/cheques/credit cards and any form of payment in a safe, secure and responsible manner
Ensure cash and documentation is secure at all times
Process all transactions in line with BDF’s procedures & policies
Highlight any cash transaction fault, concern or other as soon as possible
as Specialist of Certification (main duties - realization the hygienic procedure and certification of domestic electric appliances, arrangement inspection control of manufacture, control dates of documents, identification, contacts with public offices, and etc.)

as Specialist of Sales Department (main dutes - operations with accounting information system, billing, report preparations of department, sales analysis, shipping, interaction with clients)
Waitress during the study in the university (main duties - greeting guests upon arrival at the cafe and accompanying them to the seats, offering menu to the cafe visitors, taking orders, consulting customers on the menu, serving dishes and drinks during meals, taking dishes and glasses after meals away from tables, cleaning tables and cafe area).
