Preparing actual cost estimates for Commercial / Residential projects using CCS Candy.
* Supporting the tender process by preparation of tender package including scope of works, technical
queries evaluation of supplier/subcontractor, qualifications, etc.
* Conduct site inspections for better understanding, risk assessment of the project and identification
of parameters that may or may not be shown in the tender documents.
* Coordinate scope of work with other trade estimators to eliminate scope‐gap.
* Preparation of alternate bid to contract documents as value engineering proposal.
* Attend pre‐bid meetings/presentation with management.
* Preparation of Budget using CSI Codes for each activity in Hybrid (Oracle platform).
* Coordination with projects team to record/track or update the labor hours for various activities.
* To ensure implementation of quality standards in standard estimation procedures.
* Organize and lead subcontractor proposal review meetings and interviews & Negotiate/finalize the
vendor for any product or system after award of the project.

* Closely review and assess tenders ensuring all tender documents are received and are correct.
* Work closely under the guidance and direction of the Estimation Manager/ Senior Estimator.
* Read and analyze technical quotations, prepare enquiries and carry out follow up on quotations.
* Calculate and prepare on screen quantity take off based on tender documents.
* Evaluate the received quotations from suppliers, perform a cost comparison among received
quotations with the procurement team trying to reach the most competitive one and meanwhile
satisfy the client's requirements.
* Negotiation with suppliers on both technical & commercial aspects of products & services.
* Assisting the Senior Estimator in preparation of BOQ, final cost proposals and qualifications
(including variation).
* Ensure the implementation of local authority requirements and standards while quoting tenders.
* Based on clients budget constraints, carrying out value engineering studies.
* Liaise with project engineering department to ensure all measurements are produced from most
recent drawing revisions of monthly progress measurements.
Designing of Lighting & Power layout, Load schedules, Load calculation, Single line diagram, Sizing
of required circuit protection from Distribution Board/Sub‐Distribution Board/ Main‐Distribution
Board, required cable sizes and generator size to power up the whole project.
* Responsible for designing of fire alarm system, telephone & data layout.
* Electrical supervision in any project location/factory of Smart Box Industries.
* Technical support for production & marketing inquiry for any electrical requirement in any project.
* Responsible for shop drawings in AutoCAD to be issued for production and as‐built drawings in
AutoCAD for client’s record and future reference.
* Preparation of estimated electrical bill of materials.
* Ensuring the smooth work flow, clearing hurdles during the installation, testing & commissioning.
Study of drawing and execute the work.
* To provide the entire electrical solutions & handling of electrical load as per requirement.
* To check the entire work as according to approved drawings & ensure safety factor in the design.
* Review test plans in order to perform all required inspections and witnessing all required tests, add
witness and hold points for the client’s Inspection.
* Review inspection reports and records of quality control carried out on completed and running
project activities.
* Check and Plan the EOT Date & Schedule of the project and attending the site technical & safety
coordination meeting.
* Checking the workmanship and material quality as per approved make and right quality for the
standard work.
* Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly work progress report for claim with measurements.
