Appointed as Project Manager for the delivery of corporate fit out projects, covering both D&B and traditional, delivered on a fast track basis.
Responsible for the full life cycle of multiple corporate office fit out projects from inception through to completion including the pre tender phase. Design Management of an in-house design team, ensuring the clients design brief is captured accurately. Working closely with external consultants to ensure successful execution on site. Programme / Management and planning along with sequencing of work for live office environments. Commercial management; including, budget control, procurement, variations and design changes. Site management, Enforcement of QA/QC, HSE, and Logistics procedures.

Appointed as Project / Design Manager for the Retail component of Blue Water Island, Dubai, with a total GFA of 220, 000 m2 including; F&B, Retail and L&E components surrounding the AIN Dubai which is set to be the world’s largest observation wheel.
Responsible for managing the design process from Concept through to IFC, ensuring all design components are in line with the clients brief and consultants achieve their contractual deliverables. Facilitating a gateway review process enabling the client to review and comment on each design stage prior to acceptance. Coordination of island wide design components and MEP services. Management and implementation of client design changes through a structured change management procedure. Implementation of Value Engineering for facades and interior finishes. Design Coordination and resolution of Architectural, Structural, MEP and specialist packages. Chairing of client, consultant and contractor design meetings to ensure effective progress is maintained in line with key milestones and programme. Monthly reporting to the Client. Enforcement of HSE procedures. Reporting directly to the Project Director (Mirage) and Client (Meraas).

Assigned as Project Manager to numerous acoustic based fit out projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, including the Zaha Hadid designed, King Abdullah Petroleum and Research Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, covering over 20, 000sqm of acoustic wall systems.
Responsible for the Project Management of simultaneous running projects from inception through to completion including the design management and execution of bespoke villa projects. Resource allocation and budgeting. Design co-ordination with main contractor, consultants and client. Enforcement of QA/QC procedures. Snagging and rectification works. Weekly/monthly reporting to the company director /client. Chairing of weekly progress meetings. Commercial management including; contracts, invoicing, claims and variations. Training and development of junior employees. Implementation of HSE procedures across all project sites. Reporting directly to the company directors.

Assigned as Project Manager for a turnkey design and build fit out contractor covering Hospitality, Retail, F&B and Residential
Responsibilities included; Project delivery of numerous fit out Projects. Design management. Chairing of client and contractor meetings. Planning and sequencing of works. Construction management. Estimating and costing. Day to day management of project teams and sub contractors. Procurement of materials and FF&E. Testing and commissioning. Enforcement of QA/ QC procedures and snagging. Factory inspections (Thailand and China). Tender evaluation of sub contractors. Design Co-ordination of interior fit out and façade works. Reporting to the company director.

Assigned as a Property Manager in Central Bangkok region focusing on expansion of the company’s international/ expatriate portfolio.
Responsibilities included; Management and handover of newly completed units. Snagging and implementation of QA/QC procedures prior to handover. Attending meetings with developers and clients. Delegation of work between subordinates. Preparation of contractual documents and leasing agreements. Ensuring sales targets are met within the international team. Weekly/monthly reporting to the companies’ senior management and execution of trade shows and promotional events. Reporting directly to the company director.

The position was a one year work placement as part of a BSc (4 year sandwich course). Assigned as Package Manager to The Central Market Redevelopment (Abu Dhabi) and Assistant Project Manager on the Dubai Palladium.
Responsibilities included; Management of sub contract packages including, gypsum, render, screed, stone and external cladding. Material approvals with Architects (Foster & Partners). Chairing of sub contract progress meetings. General contract administration. Monitoring of planned vs actual performance. Management of trades on a day to day basis. Installation and programme management. Site coordination with the MEP contractor. Reporting directly to the Project Manager (Reaction).
