1. Preparation, implementation, monitoring, revision and updating of the Contract Quality Plan.
2. Development, preparation, implementation and monitoring of all Contract Specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
3. Monitoring Sub-Contractor’s Quality Systems and quality performance.
4. Preparation, implementation, revision and monitoring Quality Control Plans.
5. Reporting and Records of Quality activities.
6. Liaison with the Client on matters related to Quality.
7. Auditing - internal and follow up of Corrective Actions.
8. Overall control, supervision and implementation of Contract quality and technical requirements; resolution of quality problems; preparation and maintenance of Contract quality records
9.Receiving inspection of Project materials and welding consumables.

11.Monitoring welder performance
12.Preparation of inspection & test reports and compilation of test pack
13.Review of NDT reports
14.Ensure that all welding works is carried out in the contract are as per approved procedures and plans
15. Ensure fulfillment of all inspection & test requirements at all stages of work as per CQP and contract requirements.
17.Verification of Monitoring and measuring equipments calibration.
18.Training supervisors and welders on WPS and QC plan requirements.
1) First line supervisor on the shop floor for heavy fabrication and welding activities.
2)Welding in process control and inspection in the heavy fabrication with welding processes like SMAW, GMAW & SAW .
3)Preparation of WPS, PQR & Welder Qualifications as per ASME Sec.IX .
4) Inspection of fit-up of components structural members and its clearance for welding.
5) Control of Welding consumable at Fabrication Shop
6) Inspection of material with respective test certificates, and necessary documents and
ensuring that all materials are meeting the requirements of customer.
7)Reviewing of all welding procedures and ensuring that proper WPS is used on the job.
8)Visual examination of all welds and carrying out proper NDT as per ITP.
9)Carrying out all stage wise inspection activities in the ongoing job, and ensuring that all
the operations being carried out are as per approved standards and codes.
10)Ensuring that welders are properly qualified and proper consumables are used in the job.
11)Attending Quality Review Meeting regularly, and exploring the solution for the site
oriented problems
12)Co-ordination with Third Parties like Lloyds, BVIS, IRS& EIL Client
Representatives, Consultants, sub-contractors, vendors, site engineers and all internal departments.
13)Preparing necessary reports and reviewing with Third Parties, and client representatives .
14)Co-ordination of NDT requirements like UT, MPT, LPT & RT.
15)Shop floor work planning and allocation.
16)Coordination with third party and internal quality inspectors (welding & structural)
