Job Description:
1. Responsible in providing primary healthcare to UAE residents and non-residents with health insurance card.
2. Responsible in taking vital signs of patient.
3. Providing care to patient in out-patient basis through prioritizing their individual healthcare needs.
4. In-charge in giving direct nursing care.
5. Monitor the response of patient to the prescribed medication, therapeutic order and dietary regimen.
6. Attend emergency and resuscitative measures as needed.
7. Operates life saving monitors and equipments.
8. Assist in emergency / invasive procedures.
9. Provides relevant health teachings to patients and relatives.
10. Provides psychosocial, emotional and spiritual support respecting their cultural beliefs and values.
11. Evaluates the response and effectiveness of nursing care rendered.
12. Ensures implementation of infection control standards.
13. Documents all relevant information pertinent to patient care.
14. Refers significant findings appropriately.
15. Collaborates with the other members of the health team.
16. Assist charge nurse in making daily and monthly reports and documentation.
17. In Charge in Ambulance Vehicle, auditing, refilling consumables, equipment.
18. Assistant Safety Officer in Clinic.
Performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Obtaining consent; recording laboratory & diagnostic results; administering therapeutic interventions; and documenting and reporting patient outcomes including toxicities or adverse events.
Respond to emergency calls, assessing emergency situations and rendering Basic Trauma Life Support.
Maintenance of airway including Oropharyngeal insertion and O2 administration.
Trauma management, cervical collar application, long bone immobilization.
Use and interpretation of pulse oxy-meter.
Performed IV insertion; Nasogastric tube insertions; and catheterization
Assisted in Endotracheal tube insertion
Administered and recorded medications; observed patient’s reaction to medications
Checked endorsements made by outgoing shift and conducted rounds of patients
