Planning and strategy
• Build a strategic plan for the oil and gas producing asset (both 1 and 3 year plans)
• Conduct monthly meetings to review and update the plan with the team of business units representatives and HQ
• Coordinate with other teams of the Project to measure the impact and efficiency of new business development options in the region
• Analysis of opportunities for expansion, projects evaluation.
• Build a strategic opportunity map to provide guidance for each significant collaborative project
• Analysis of economic effectiveness of portfolio of options (in different macroeconomics parameters). Data management (economics model for the project, cost and production profiles).
Knowledge management
• Developed the corporate standard and regulations for the knowledge management process on the Project
• Designed the corporate interface to share lessons learned from Badra Project with other projects in different areas of Russia
• Collect and analyze lessons learned and best practices from all business units of the project
• Organize workshops on lessons learned and best practices involving business units managers and major contractors representatives
Project operations management, project strategy
• Involved preparation of the options for the business development in Brazil, analysis of the opportunities of gas sales in the local market
• Successfully built a business plan and obtained appropriate investment decision (2013)
• Governance of financial and commercial issues (JV Financial and Management Committees)
• Establishment of the mechanism monitoring Brazil subsidiary and JV partner compliance with JOA (KPI’s, performance matrixes, etc.)
• Monitoring the activity of the project during weekly reviews, act as an escalation point to support the team
Operations, and project finance
• Ensure short- and long-term business plans are aligned with the Company’s License Management Strategy and E&A strategy
• Preparation of investment requests (FM) for seismic and drilling wells in Brownfields and Greenfields. Actual execution of FM’s against the forecast at the time of FM approval
Cost management
• Building Authorization for Expenditure (AFE’s)
• Monitoring and reporting monthly accruals for work performed versus invoices received
• Assisting procurement and commercial part of supply activities required to support drilling & completion and construction operations
Business planning:
Ensure short- and long-term business plans are aligned with the Company’s License Management Strategy and E&A strategy.
• Organization and coordination of meetings in Vietnam Government offices (Ministries and Organizations related to Oil&Gas sector), representing TNK-BP investment strategy and growth potential in Vietnam
• Preparation of comprehensive technical presentations for EVP Townhall meetings including international businesses in Vietnam and Venezuela
• Supporting EVP during Eurobond Roadshows for investors in the USA (Boston, New York).
• EVP briefing and update of Upstream data. Data collection across various teams in Technology, Upstream and Company Functions
• Coordinate with all the VP’s (7 VP’s) of the Business Unit to receive weekly updates on key achievements (production, exploration wells success, HSE, finance results, etc.) of each Business Division. Brief the EVP with all the updates.
