Is responsible for ensuring that data is being save, plan, and coordinate data migrations between systems. Identify inefficiencies and migrate properly in system.
• Perform database development, query tuning, design optimization, data migration
• Design & architect ETL solutions, develop or modify ETL processes that load data using SSIS
• Importing/exporting data between different sources like Oracle/Access/Excel etc. using SSIS/DTS utility.
• Automation of daily/weekly data loads and trigger data load process
• Providing logging, error handling by using Event Handler, and custom logging for SSIS Packages.
• Working as data migration consultant for internal departments.
• Working with cyber security department to enable data masking.
• Building Data quality tools to validate and check corrupted data and fire alerting.
• Management of team involving assigning tasks and supervision of task completion.
• Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems. Identify inefficiencies in current databases and leverage solutions.
Strong experience in:
• Web applications Development Using (C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery).
• MVC and Entity Framework.
• WCF Service and Web Service in ASP.NET.
• Strong Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL Server, (stored procedures, functions, triggers and views) and development of business applications logic in DB objects.
• Database Design and Programming Using (SQL Server).
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ETL Packages between a lot of database (oracle, paradox, SQL server, etc.) and SOA Integration.
