About Tender Management Team
o Tender file: excel file consist of expected shipments that big company expected to do for one year (tender always worth millions of dollors ).
o Tender management Process :
Company send tender to freight forwarder
OMT (opportunity management team) receives the file and convert it to the internal format (each tender need 2-3 days to convert)
pricing team fill internal format (internal format contains more details)
OMT convert filled internal file back to tender
Negotiations
o Tender management Team is trying to identify the bottlenecks for tender management process, and try to automate these
Main responsibilities
o responsible for the technical design and the delivery plan for the feature
o support team members
o Review team members code
o Supporting product with the process of putting requirement
o Work close to tender management sales guys and help them preparing demos and sometimes do the demo
Main responsibilities
o Design and implement features to make robust product and to help sales team close new deals
Almost I implement feature in all areas of our system (client and server)
Main contributor for freightos pricing engine: Pricing engine is one of the core features in freightos which is responsible of calculating the exact price given customer general data, in addition to prepare a detailed report of these prices
Implement quote edit page: quote edit page is the most active page in freightos, this page in the one responsible for displaying pricing details and interface with user for any manual change/update in the prices that he is willing to have
Enhancements across the whole system: mainly rounding infrastructure, responsible for fees routing to they will appear in user friendly form
Bug fixes: Fixed the stability issue that we faced for 1 week after one of our releases.
