The U.A.E. based Group of Companies, with branches in multiple countries, is engaged
in production and distribution of Herbal Products across the world. After being inducted
at Hemani, I passionately undertook the below endeavors with zero supervision:-
⌂ Shifting Books of Accounts to Focus ERP and phasing out MS Excel which was being used to maintain General ledger and other reports.
⌂ Activated Profit Centers and Departments and prepared reports accordingly
⌂ Development of a smooth & efficient Sales Workflow process fully utilizing ERP capabilities. This dramatically reduced redundancy of work and was a huge relief to Sales Team.
⌂ Devised a highly effective Logical Coding System for products (800 + products) which dramatically reduced stress of memorizing the item name for anyone operating the ERP.
⌂ Personally developed Print Layouts and Reports in Focus ERP.
⌂ Developed and presented simple to intricate Business Intelligence Reports using Advanced Excel
⌂ Development of Department Task & Activity Report.
Besides the above, I performed the traditional responsibilities of Accountant which were
later handed down to Junior Accountants. This included:-
⌂ Bank Reconciliation using Advanced Excel
⌂ Monthly Receivables
⌂ Drawing up Profit & Loss Account
⌂ Intercompany Transactions
The company was engaged in manufacturing various types of Soaps. My short term employment helped in achieving:-
⌂ The recording of Multi-Staged Manufacturing Process: Input of Raw Material
The company is engaged in providing Armed Guards & Security Services to individuals
and organizations
⌂ Developed customized Payroll Module using Advanced Excel techniques to cater to the unique payroll needs of the company.
Preparing / Maintaining the following Managerial Reports using Advanced Excel:-
⌂ Guards’ comprehensive database including physical characteristics, prior experiences etc.
⌂ History of each guard from recruitment to retirement. History of each location with option to view current status
⌂ Pie chart report mentioning the ethnic composition of the security guards.
⌂ Location-wise guards deployment report, with availability of various useful filters
⌂ Preparing reports in local language where necessary.
The companies are engaged in manufacturing of patterned cement and mosaic tiles. I
was responsible for the following areas:
⌂ Assuming overall responsibility for the Accounting function, including revenue cycle, purchase cycle, inventory management, payroll management, general ledger and financial and taxation reporting
⌂ Raising Sales Invoices; maintaining a close watch on unbilled Delivery Notes
⌂ Maintaining records of accounts receivables customer-wise and project-wise
