• Managed the issuance of a local Bond that was covered 11 times by non-banking institutions.
• Study and negotiate new financing solutions such as ECA financing, leasing and international bonds.
• Liaise with Rating agencies the process of due diligence and annual rating report,
• Ensure full regulatory compliance for all treasury related matters.
• Responsible for day-to-day operations in areas of Corporate Banking, Current accounts/Cash management/ Overdrafts, Term Loans, Payments, Cross border Funds transfers, Foreign Exchange, Risk Management, Loan documentation, Certificate of Deposits / cash flow management/ Letters of credit/ Checks & Cr. Card collection.
• Forex risk management - Hedging exchange risks - Hedge accounting
• Manage and control facilities’ admin work (i.e. loan draw down /repayments, compliance certificates etc..)
• Prepare the cash flow projection.
• Monitor the daily cash position and foreign currency rates.
• Lead cash operations team to handle all cash activities (issuance of L/Cs& L/Gs, Time deposits, Collections of checks and bills, bank reconciliations ... etc)
• Link the company with banks online via electronic banking systems.
• Set different processes for cash-related activities.
• Secure company needs from foreign currency.
• Ensure on time and accurate booking of cash transactions.
• Manage the monthly close of cash operations department.
Supervise Cash team to perform the following:
• Preparing the daily Cash Position, monthly Cash Flow and other reports.
• Monitoring and controlling Bills and checks collection through banks.
• Preparing Bank reconciliations
• Executing Local and overseas transfers.
• Fixing Time deposits.
• Cash movement between Cash and cash equivalents.
• Issuance of Letters of credit and letters of guarantee.
• Automation of Checks issuance to vendors.
• Recording the necessary entries for the above.
• Monthly close.
• Review Wholesale credit agreements.
• A/R reconciliation.
• Passing the sales J.Vs.
• Supervise sales accounting team (two accountants, two Cashiers and a Bill Collector)
• Reconcile Promotional free claims and current accounts between Co. and Coca Cola International.
• Preparing Commission sheets for Western region Sales staff.
