LNG Plant in Eidku, Egypt.
Scope in the project included the following:
EPIC of marine facilities to provide access, berthing, mooring and handling of
LNG carriers ranging in size from 70 m3 to 140 m3. Main breakwater of 800m long. Temporary construction dock and marine jetty 2.40m long of steel structure rested on 25" dia. Steel piles and pre-cast concrete elements, with all necessary equipment for the jetty and accompanied platform and dolphins, such as loading arms, fenders, bollards, quick release hooks and marine environmental monitoring system (MEMS). Dredging of approximately 1, 650, 000 m3, performing 4.00km long access channel and turning basin provided with navigational aids.
