Duties:
• Line manage the teaching & learning coaches (TLCs) within the CBP to achieve the goals of the College Improvement Plan (CIP) and ensure that coaching and training needs of the college trainers are identified, developed and delivered to a high standard.
• Oversee the assessment by the TLCs of each member of the training staff on content knowledge, teaching ability, technical knowledge and the associated personalized coaching and training plans of trainers.
• Mentor and support the training of staff on subject knowledge, technical skills, time management and any other relevant areas indicated by the coach.
• Assess the progress of staff against key performance indicators (KPIs) on a Semester basis and share findings.
• Promote and advance an agenda of academic excellence.
• Evaluate the implementation and impact of professional development and training for continuous college improvement.
• Develop, promote and engage with all teaching staff in innovative methods of sharing good practice and the sharing of resources.
• Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
• Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations and provide opportunities for ongoing development.
• Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions and deploy a wide variety of training methods.
• Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness and success and periodically report on them.
• Resolve any specific problems, tailor training programs as necessary and maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.

Duties:
1. • Liaise with Future Brand Agency in Dubai to maintain KAPSARC’s website.
• Develop, compile and edit English and Arabic content for KAPARC’s website.
• Translate of KAPARC’s website content from English into Arabic and vice versa.
• Coordinate KAPSARC’s events.
• Develop content for KAPSARC’s campaigns, newsletters, press releases and internal communication.
• Help with the branding and positioning of KAPSARC.
• Develop English and Arabic content for the messaging system of KAPSARC.

• Teach English as a second language (ESL) to Company advanced level employees, apprentices and college preparation students.
• Observe ESL classes and discuss observation report and evaluation with teachers.
• Take part in preparing teachers’ annual evaluation.
• Prepare teaching, proctoring and testing schedules.
• Counsel teachers and trainees.
• Monitor proctoring, testing and scoring sessions.
• Monitor daily reports on teachers’ and trainees’ attendance.
• Mentor new teachers and prepare orientation schedules for them.
• Lead English test items writing teams.
• Participate in the curriculum revision committee for the intermediate and advanced English levels (1996-2000).
• Conduct teacher training for newcomers and for refresher teacher training courses.
• Teach English as a second language to high school and college students utilizing varied learning resources.
• Maintain student records and marks.
• Take part in scoring final tests.
• Conduct teacher training for intermediate and secondary school teachers.
• Communicate information on progress & performance to students and other appropriate persons.
• Assess students’ performance in English through class, course and system assignments.
• Contribute to the planning, evaluation and revision of curricula, course content and materials, and methods of instruction.

A master's degree in International and Overseas Education coupled with a graduate certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language.

A bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, minor Translation.
