Managed larger projects outsourced to vendors including requirements gathering, vendor evaluations, following up, UAT, etc.
Key Projects:
• Almajdouie Leads: developed a web app for all employees to submit leads for sales among all Almajdouie B2C companies.
• Raya Marketing Intelligence: built a web app to gather packages of other competitors, economic factors and provide customizable reports.
• Almajdouie Care: developed iOS app for Almajdouie Motors customers, allowing users to manage the service packages of their cars, find nearby garages, etc.
• Content Management System: due to the sheer number of subsidiaries that needed websites, we built a simple CMS to allow us to deploy new sites within a week with an all new theme and all their content.
• Surveys: receiving many surveys and simple information gathering web app requests, we decided to save time by developing a dynamic survey system.
• Employee Dashboard: one-stop page with all quick info employees frequently need such as vacation balance, attendance, printer e-pin, upcoming training courses, unresolved service desk tickets, etc.
After my main project was disbanded, I jumped from team to team trying to get a feel for IT and discover my interests in the field.
In chronological order:
• ½ year: Quality assurance and bug testing for a huge engineering and warehousing web app.
• 1 year: web developer building internal web apps such as their medical system using ASP.NET, VB.NET, Telerik RadControls (now Telerik UI), Microsoft SQL Server and Crystal Reports. Also, managed their website and SharePoint dev and admin.
• ½ year: SAP Basis (users, authorization, back-ups) and SPP (SAP Service Pack) for user tutorials and documentation
• 1 year: Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 2010, server admin (Win Server 2003-2012 on Win Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V hosts), SCCM 2012, Office 365.
