Service Engineer
Quality Lab
Total des années d'expérience :10 years, 3 Mois
As a service engineer at Quality Lab, I was able to supply and support wide range of laboratory instruments in different industries: food, water, agriculture, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and academic laboratories.
Instruments such as:
• Atomic Absorption (Perkin Elmer), Fourier Transform Infra-Red, Chromatography, Spectrophotometer, analytical meters, centrifuges, autoclaves, etc.
• Installation of petroleum testing instruments (NORMALAB): pour & point test, flash point, viscometers, and distillation apparatus, etc.
Over the course of my academic years, I have taught over several seminars on biomedical ethics and strategies for efficiency. Recently, I have attended as a Representative Speaker at 3rd conference of Arab Bio-clinic that was held in Beirut October 2017, discussing my Master Thesis Paper (picture attached).
Apart from these, I am also experienced in learning and adapting to new technologies as per the job demand. I truly believe in continued education and research, and continue to seek new methods to assist with safe, effective product development.
I have been involved in numerous large-scale tastings and releases of biomedical products, particularly related to operational room devices. Because of my experience, I understand the importance of time management and open communication.
During my successful time at Trad Hospital and Medical Center, as biomedical engineer, I have been involved in numerous large-scale testing and installation of biomedical equipment in the hospital, particularly related to the following departments:
• Operational Rooms: Electro-surgery devices, surgical tables, anesthesia machines, suction units, surgical instruments (laparoscopy, ophthalmology), and steam sterilizers.
• Monitoring Devices: vital monitors, ECGs, defibrillators.
• Laboratory devices: CBC (Complete Blood Count), hematocrit centrifuges, and freezers.
• Additional Operations: heating, ventilation, electrical supply, central gas supply and vacuum systems.
My responsibilities in the hospital also have gone beyond maintenance including:
• Technology and risk management
• Quality assurance and routine inspections.
• Organizing trainings for end users on the operation and safety of using medical devices, (You can see attached some of the presentations done by me).
• Development and implementation of documentation protocols required by external accreditation and licensing agencies.
With a Master’s Degree in biomedical engineering, 4 years of hands-on experience servicing medical devices, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner, I confidently express my interest in submitting my CV for consideration to join your company. I am graduated from an accredited academic program in engineering at Lebanese International University, which attempts to train and qualify engineers for successful careers with well-designed courses to fill the gap in the scientific communication between biomedical engineers and physicians. The lab courses build on the topics where students are introduced to the theory, design, and main components of a variety of medical equipment (blood counters, electrosurgical units, pacemaker, defibrillators, chemistry analyzers, anesthesia machines, lithotripters, and Hemodialysis delivery systems). These laboratory courses provide thorough understanding of the operation of these equipment and instructions on their calibration.
