. Review and approval of Method of Statement, Inspection and Test Plan, Risk assessment and Program of Works.
. Supporting to Project Manager, in negotiation of Cost Variations (C.V) and Extension of Time (E.O.T).
. Overseeing Inspector’s daily activities, giving out work assignments, providing guidelines for construction inspection.
. Certify the Measurements and payment.
. The placement, quality and the standard of the steel, as per requirement of the project and specifications.
. Review of monthly report and report to Client.
. Discussion of action Plan to avoid any delay in the project.
. Attend the Progress Meeting and Management Meeting.
. Monitors and coordinates safety and quality control on projects by ensuring project is constructed in accordance with applicable safety regulations, reporting safety and defective work to the contractor for correction, and preparing and issuing appropriate reports for compliance documentation.
. Assist the Senior Engineer in preparing Concept and Preliminary designs.
. Carry out structural design to British Standards, American Standards and other standard codes.
. Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and other structural team.
. Prepare markup for CAD technicians and check drawings upon completion.
. Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and quality of final drawings and output.
. Ensure the design going on as per schedule and corrective action.
. Give site backup on technical/design issues, where required.
. Visit sites to address design related issues as and when required.
. Attend meetings with local authorities coordination meetings with other departments and Clients as and when required
