Developed work plans, construction activities, staffing, quality control plans, safety procedures and equipment and materials deliveries and prepared and issued progress payment invoices.
Successfully managed both projects with manpower at peak time of 15 engineers and 400 other employees.
Collected, analyzed all operating parameters of the plant before plant shutdown and all information from client and end user to pin point major bottlenecks affecting plant production capacity.
Liaison with operating company management and client to schedule stoppage of units and common plants like hydrogen unit, compressed air plant and water treatment plant and prepared effective schedule.

Supervised the replacement of four cement clinker bucket conveyors (capacity 200 t/h each, total length 600 m) and designed, supervised fabrication and installation of four new chutes, replacement of crushers lining, insulation, field instrumentation and drive system.

Initiated the project and executed, with a team of three engineers, laboratory, bench scale and pilot plant trials to find the optimum operating parameters for the design of the plant to produce 100, 000 t/a of SSP and 150, 000 t/a of TSP fertilizer.
Supervised Design and fabrication, construction and commissioning of all material handling equipment.
Awarded a patent right from the Iraqi Patent Board for applying this process on the Iraqi ore for the first time.

Abu-Kammash Petrochemical Complex, Zuara- Lybia
Project Engineer for Reconstruction of Nitrogen Fertilizers Complex 1992-1993
Prepared work plans, schedule, budget and procedures.
Inspected, assessed extent of damage to equipment, and prepared SOW & BOQ for the required equipment and materials. This complex has two plants with capacities of 66, 000 t/a and 420, 000 t/a of prilled urea with ammonia plants, desalination units, steam boilers and other utilities and services. There was severe damage to major equipment like prilling tower, CO2 absorption tower.
Supervised removal of damaged equipment, installation of new equipment and fabrication of equipment in the local market and coordinated the work of six subcontractors.
Project Manager for Reconstruction and Restart up of the plant 4 M t/y capacity, 1991-1992
Inspected, assessed extent of damage to equipment and systems, and prepared SOW & BOQ. There was huge damage to bottleneck points in the plant like electrical substation, kilns burning zones and bearings, kilns feeding system.
Planned all activities, prepared detailed schedule, prepared detailed lists of required resources and prepared cost estimate and budget for the project.

The plant consisted of screening & crushing section, Two lines of Calcination, slaking section, and wet post treatment section (screening, milling, cyclones separation, centrifuges, filters)

Designed and supervised major modifications in the plant especially in the transport systems and final product separation which resulted in increase of capacity by 10% and reduced down time considerably.
