Play a key role in the scale-up of Bank-supported healthcare investments (projects, PRSCs, Development policy lending, etc); advise regional colleagues and country clients on technical health Issues recruit and supervise the work of consultants and technical specialists to ensure consistency and conformity to Bank standards and the Health, Nutrition Population strategy. Lead missions and supervise projects as needed;, organize and manage policy development and evaluation Papers in collaboration with partner agencies and donors. Contribute to and lead the development of proposals, as needed. Provide direct operational support to country clients through missions and other contributions in the
overall design, preparation, supervision enhancement, and evaluation of investments made by the Bank in the area of healthcare; support the regions in interfacing with clients and agencies in resolving complex implementation issues.
Generate and/or contribute (Regions) to 'think pieces', case-studies, evaluation studies, innovations and 'best practice' papers on scaling-up healthcare in low healthcare -burden countries; handle complex technical, institutional and program implementation issues and disseminate these widely with governments, Bank staff and international partners. Contribute to capacity-development and knowledge management in health management
within the Bank.Work independently under the general direction of unit manager, and guide and mentor younger staff.
