Job-Responsibilities :
To control and maintain thermal power plant I.e. Boiler and turbine
Boiler :
Capacity 420 Ton/hr. steam pressure 173 kg/cm steam temperature540 oC at MCR . front firing with 9 burners at three elevations . attempting system at HT.MT, LT De superheated as well as re heater de superheated to control main steam and reheat steam temperature
• FGD system - flue gas de selpharize to control the atmospheric pollution
• ESP system . to remove ash from the Flue gas through electrostatic process.
• To do daily activity such that to perform soot blowers to remove ASH from super heater tubes (LT, MT, HT)and air preheaters.
• Daily Retain cheek up of all boiler equipment i.e. F.D fan FD Fan, GR FAN Fuel oil pumps, fuel oil heaters APH, SCAH, etc. to maintain smooth operation of boiler and obtain maximum output.
• Weekly change over to all stand by equipment as per SOP.
Steam turbine :160 MW single rotor three cylinder (HP, IP, LP) with six extraction steam, condensing turbine.
Steam turbine consist the following Auxiliaries (system) which keep the steam turbine in smooth operation to obtain the power energy without flection.
• Sea water system use sea water as coolant In condenser to condense the final exhaust of steam turbine
• CCW system : to maintain the temperature of all auxiliaries bearing i.e. BFWP extraction pump, APH, support and glued bearing lube oil coolant to cool the oil to maintain turbine bearing temperature etc.
• Jacking and turning gear system during cold or hot start up or shut down lifting and turning the steam turbine shaft to warm or cool the the turbine rotor, casing components to avoid the sag bow.
• Oil purifier system : to remove moisture and others impatiens to maintain the good quality at lube oil for the safety of turbine bearing .
• De aerator : mechanically and chemically deareation to maintain the oxygen free of feed water.
• Condensate extraction pump : to remove the condensate and control the hot well level.
• Gland steam fan & condenser : to maintain positive pressure at turbine glands and control leak -off steam.
• Low pressure and high pressure feed water heater : to give the heat energy from extraction steam to feed water through shell and tubes then LP and HP heaters
