1. Drive the major projects for business excellence like Customer Classification, Optimizing Distribution Cost, and Analyzing Production Line Capacity etc.
2. Co-ordinate the implementation of recommended Business Excellence best practices and their sustained adherence throughout the organization. May entail working against resistance to change.
3. Trigger the launch of and monitor projects/ initiatives necessary for complying to the Business Excellence recommendations.
4. Work with and take a lead role in the industry and organizations for the implementation of supply chain system throughout the organs.
5. Visit factories, outsource branches, depots to gauge impact of new ways of working. Formulate and standardize practices across the functions.
6. Arbitrate/ identify integration issues within Supply Chain and recommend ways for seamless and cohesive operations.
7. Start working with Demand Generating and Supply Ensuring Team for establishing a strong partnership and support in the key focus area of Key Accounts. Establish an advantageous rapport by working with their Supply Chains.
8. Manage, lead and co-ordinate Supply Chain integration aspects with all other Streams, Business Excellence and senior stakeholders. If necessary, escalate such issues with the Management for resolution.
9. Decide feedback mechanism to ensure compliance to the Key Decision documents and the approved Business Rules.
10. Determine Distributor and Depot-wise Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) to meet sales forecast and optimize distribution cost, lead time, and safety stock and customer service level.
11. Prepare and ensure optimum production plan for eighteen months by taking into consideration product demand, machine capacity, minimum batch quantity, manpower, economic, minimum order quantity, and capacity utilization etc.
12. Execute eighteen months MRP (Material Requirement Planning).
13. Calculate safety stock for each manufacturing plant for next 18 months considering different parameters and execute supply network plan accordingly.
14. Maintaining slow, Non& block stock as per stock norms at factory level.
15. Liaise with internal stake holders and monitor market demand change closely to avoid out of stocks and over stocks.
16. Monitor customer service levels from factory to Depots and Distributors.
17. Prepare production budget.
18. Drive MPS related different projects for increasing the supply chain efficiency.

Develop overall production capacity calculation to align the forecasted market demand in order to meet the market requirements. This capacity calculation work improves the production capacity by considering different factors like actual break time, breakdown of machines, and availability of manpower.
Develop the production tracker to track the daily production output and calculate the Labor Overhead (LOH) cost which helps the production department in tracking their improvements in the production of products and the finance department in tracking daily LOH cost which they need to report globally per week.
Introduce daily supply tracker to track the actual supply of the products in the market. This tracker also verified per month by ensuring cross check with the commercial departments product receiving tracker.

Accountability and responsibilities
Planning & Supply Activities:
Consistently communicate with the demand manager to get the yearly demand and follow up the changes in the demand based on the market condition.
Develop production plan to meet the market demand.
Consistently communicate with the production dept. QA dept., Store dept., & Finished Goods Warehouse personnel.
Keep track with the actual production output and make a comparison with the budgeted volume for the respective month / year.
Track the actual production output on daily basis.
Provide documents to the entire production department in order to ensure smooth operations.
Keep track of the documents to avoid any uncertain situations while providing documents as per the production program.
Consistently report ZAP (Zero Access Promotion) and GEMBA to the line supervisor.
Prepare weekly tentative product release status.
Follow up the daily product releasing status and take necessary actions to enhance this activity (if necessary)
Provide tentative product releasing status to the commercial department based on which they allocate the transport.
Ensure on-time transfer of the products to the FGWH.
Develop and update the product supply tracker against the monthly demand on a regular basis.
Prepare and submit Conformance to Plan (CTP) on weekly basis.
Update the production make frequency status on monthly basis.
Develop data analytical presentation as & when required.

Procurement Activities:
Prepare Comparative Statement against each requisition submitted by different departments of the organization.
Keep the purchase requisition (PR) track record.
Negotiate the price of the products as & when required.
Prepare Purchase Order (P.O) as per the requisition submitted by each department.
Communicate with the local supplier to supply the products as per the purchase order to the respective department.
