• Responsible for availability of equipment for electrical machines.
• Ensure proper management of electrical and electronics’ maintenance material.
• Responsible to approve the work requests of departments and manage the creation of work order against the work request and execute the work after completion update in the oracle system.
• Minimizing the down time of machines.
• Proper staffing of subordinates; resolve issues related to electronics/electrical maintenance.
• Evaluate the performance of team and guide them.
• Allocate jobs to workers and helpers and resolve issues related to electronics/electrical maintenance.
• Development of machines parts, in-house or out of factory.
• To implement and maintain 7-S program in the department.
• Implement of continual improvement as directed by managers.
• Ensure that energy operations can support energy management initiatives.
• Identify inefficient equipment and practices and recommend where/how improvements could be made.
• Set improvement goals and drive activity toward achieving energy efficiency goals.
• Oversee the implementation of specific energy management initiatives and projects.
• Manage and report on the progress of energy management activities and initiatives against goals.
• Design & quote Low Voltage (LV) Distribution, Power Factor Correction (PFC), Generator Synchronization, Auto Transfer Switch (ATS), Auto Phase Sequence Corrector (APSC), Motor Control Center (MCC), and PLC/HMI Panels.
• Preparation of Electrical design specifications and technical drawings including Single Line Diagram (SLD).
• Work with international clients such as Etkan Factory & Allesco Palestine to design & quote their type-tested panels with Siemens & ABB products.
• Selection of Proper Switchgear components according to Load Requirement.
• Calculation of Cables' & Copper Busbars' size according to Switchgear Components' Ampere Rating.
• Attending project meetings and presenting specific aspects of design assignments.
• Electrification of Residential, Commercial & Industrial Sectors.
• Design, evaluate and instruct practical works of Electrical Engineering courses to undergraduate students as per PEC standards.
• To ensure the smooth operation / maintenance / validation / calibration activities of electrical equipment & instruments in the Laboratory.
• Inventory management of Electrical Trainers, Instruments, and Power Supplies.
• Selection and upgrading of laboratory equipment as required.
• Assistance to senior faculties in their funded research & industrial projects
• Design, analyze and propose modifications for Low Voltage (LV) Distribution, Power Factor Correction (PFC), Generator Synchronization, Auto Transfer Switch (ATS), Auto Phase Sequence Corrector (APSC), Motor Control Center (MCC), and PLC/HMI Panels.
