DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DUTIES
Purchase of Goods
• Ensures that best prices for quality are obtained free of tax and provide Headquarters agreement to supplier if necessary .
• Issues Purchase Order (PO) and/or Contracts for all assistance items purchased and where necessary
• Liaise with inspection companies
• Submits Purchase Order (PO) for signature to the concerned parties and the supplier
• Ensure that proper PO files with all relevant documents are updated
• In the case of petty cash purchase physically visit the local market in order to procure goods
• Confirms suppliers reception of PO and agreement on terms and condition
• Reception of goods, Quality& Quantity Control and Claims
• Order Management and supple chain
• Analyse of offers/ Suppliers selection
• Database Management
• Market Survey
● Conduct of purchases as per ICRC standard Purchasing rules and regulation, priority for emergency items.
● Follow up of requests and supply chain management .Ensure that such purchases are cost compared with Khartoum /WSD and best price /efficiency has been achieved
● Management of warehouse: follow up of stocks (Fuel, Material Goods), preparation of inventory
● Car and Truck despatch
● supervision and coordination of logistic(8people)
●Replacement of Airops officer on airstrip when needed
● Payment oh Salaries, perdiem and overtime to ICRC staff and SRCS
● Relationship with Kabkabya Bank
● Payments of rents of compounds to landlord and maintain file and relationship
● Accounting (invoices, balance in accounting)
● Preparation and update of HR files for staff
● Supervision of security guards (preparing monthly duty shifts and organizing replacements )and cleaning ladies.
● Supervision of maintenance in premises
●Translating between English and Arabic and vice versa for the MEF.B Expatriate, this applies to both oral and written
translation and medical terminology.
● To accurately translate written materials between Arabic and English and vice versa
