• Heading the IT Infrastructure Team including Server/ Storage Operations/Data Center/ Information Security Operations/ DB Operations/ ITIL Service Management /Asset Management & End User Support
• Supervising the existing infrastructure, overseeing preventative maintenance and backup as well as performed other regular support activities to ensure effectiveness
• Leading IT operations team; providing strategic consultancy entailing:

• Identifying client's business challenges, competitors and business strategies, proposing solutions and winning the deal
• Budgeting, Periodic Capacity Expansion Planning, Client Engagement & Support, Release and Project Management
• Coordinating project functions; monitoring onsite activities and timely execution of projects; working closely with the Project Managers to ensure that various projects get smoothly transitioned to Operations
• Administering Incident, Change & Problem Management and providing troubleshooting support within ITIL framework:
• Participating in Escalation Management to ensure high customer satisfaction/timely complaint resolution
• Ensuring service calls are promptly responded to and prioritized accordingly
• Driving short, medium and long-term operational efficiency initiatives every day that improve profitability and customer satisfaction, evolving and refining hosting environments for efficiency, scalability and maintainability
• Monitoring the performance of teams for maintaining excellence in IT & Project operations by:
• Conducting briefings with the team to discuss issues and ensure resolution to minimize escalations
• Performing employee performance reviews and regular career planning sessions with internal and external employees
• Building client satisfaction through formulation, development, implementation and delivery of technical and business

Significant Highlights
• Steered the array of functions encompassing:
• Data Centers & Infrastructure Management
• ERP Project Manager
• Corporate Steering Committee Member
• Corporate Executive Member
• Stellar role in ERP implementation of the financial modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, FA), HRMS modules (HR, Payroll, Self-Service, OTL), Procurement management, Inventory management, and Manufacturing modules
• Significantly contributed towards upgradation of the ERP from R11 to R12 for previous modules and implemented new modules (Order Management, Process Manufacturing, I-Procurement, Landed Cost Management, Property Management, and Project Management)
• Led the team for introducing:
• Digital menu boards in Kudu outlets to display digital media advertising our products, prices, and promotions
• Kitchen Display System in Kudu outlets
• Performed information security assessment based on information security standard frameworks & implemented a written internal policies and procedures
• Supervised the implementation & installation of EMC data warehousing and build a Disaster recovery site
• Extended support to sponsors strategic decisions by using Tableau (Business Intelligence Tool); upgraded Active Directory and implemented office 365
• Administered setting up of call center facility to automate customer orders/complaints from all major cities in Saudi Arabia
• Successfully implemented:
• Fully integrated system with the ERP for attendance and access control.
