Coordinate all activities of the assigned IT projects from its initial stage to its final acceptance with close coordination with end users, and Project Managers in order to facilitate successful project completion in accordance with defined quality standards. Coordinate with Project Managers, set up and maintain the project files to ensure project documentation and quality are met in accord with defined standards. Assist and administer the files quality review process. Coordinate effectively with project managers, end users, service providers all related parties involved in the project to ensure effective knowledge sharing to facilitate successful procedure execution. Distribute all project related updates and documentation to concerned parties to collect and consolidate feedback. Generate reports for projects on related issues for review and action by the project managers to facilitate effective achievement of project deliverables. Maintain and archive project correspondents.

- Manage and track the IT portfolio (BAU, Programs and Projects), in association with Business Relationship Managers, IT Program Managers and IT Project Managers.

- Aggregate and close monitoring issues and risks
for the assigned programs and conduct portfolio sequencing/reporting to IT Executive Management.

- Prepare/Present IT Portfolio updates
presentation weekly to GCIO and IT Executive Management.

- Conduct portfolio sequencing, monitoring and reporting in coordination with IT planning and budgeting and business relationship management to ensure effective IT portfolio management.

- In collaboration with the assistant manager, manage capacity by capturing and categorizing business demand and assigning to appropriate teams.

- Manage assigned project portfolio, approval process and progress tracking to ensure effective management of all work in progress in compliance with defined quality standards and client expectations.

- Manage, track and communicate the overall assigned program status and liaise with program stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

- Aggregate, Monitor, and Communicate the Issues and Risks of the assigned programs and portfolio to the assistant manager.

- Liaise with IT Performance Management to contribute in the development, monitoring and maintenance of IT performance KPI’s to support the achievement of established IT functional objectives in accord with defined quality targets.

• Plan, Manage and Execute assigned IT Projects ensuring achievement of project deliverables within the set tolerances and as per the defined quality standards and client expectations.

• Managing projects related to Retail Banking with considering these projects that are related to ATMs are part of Digital Banking and Digitization.

• Project Planning: -

- Develop, seek approval and implement IT project plans (e.g. resourcing, scheduling, key deliverables, milestones, cost estimates, etc.) for assigned IT projects in order to ensure effective resource management and adherence to quality standards.

- Manage the implementation of IT projects and plan using well-established project management methodologies and tools in accord with established policies and procedures.

- Track and report the progress of projects and initiate the resolution of issues, while escalating complex problems for management decision making.

- Manage up to 3 projects with a budget up to KD 1.5 Million.

• Project Management

- Own IT project management process for the assigned projects from preparation, RFP development, vendor and systems selection, decide project approach, through initiation until implementation in collaboration with IT Architecture and Standards, Systems Development, Infrastructure Development, and Vendor Management Office in order to ensure successful completion of projects in accord with defined quality guidelines.

- Coordinate with IT Performance Management on change control activities for the proper transition into operations.

- Lead the development to manage the delivery of documentation (e.g. operations, training, user guides, etc.) and conducting of testing prior to project acceptance and transition in coordination with IT Performance Management.

- Coordinate security issues with IT Security department (under IT Infrastructure Development) and Central Information Security ensuring compliance to defined guidelines.

- Set up, manage and monitor the implementation of procedures and controls on the project including, risk, issues, quality, communications, configuration management, monitoring and reporting.

- Motivate and lead the team working on the project and ensure building Team Work spirit amongst the project team.

- Provide progress updates to stakeholders to facilitate information sharing and complete closure project evaluation reports in accord with established timelines and procedures.
