Responsibilities:
•Work with stakeholders throughout the stc to identify the data controls and standards required by Saudi regulatory compliance.
•Discovery of data and metadata from the OSS department applications and databases to identify the sensitive data/ applications and find the data handling risk assessment.
•Following up with OSS operation teams and vendors to apply all the controls requested by the DPP team.
•Steering committee member for auditing and tracking the data access, sharing, and verifying the data handling and controls.
•Steering committee member for reviewing and identifying any operational challenges or business obstacles that require validating or tuning the business process.
•Working with IT and data center department staff to verify that databases and data warehouse storage and backup comply with the new standards.
•Develop necessary organization documentation and guidelines as per established standards.
•Coordinating with data analyst, data architect, IT, and cybersecurity teams to align all the new changes on the Data governance terms.
•Receive a weekly report for databases, software, applications, and operating systems vulnerability health check.
•Review the vendor's contracts regarding data governance concepts, data risk, data protection, and data handling terms. Update SLA, and give the awareness and consultation of weak points if necessary.
