1. letters of credits, bank guarantees, banking agreements and other bank facilities.
2. The ability to develop a system and create a clear policy and procedures and documentary integrated cycle on ( LC’s ), ( LG’s ), ( STL ), ( MTL ), ( PPF ) and project finance.
3. Review and approve each letter of credit (LC’s) & letter of guarantees (LG’s), once extensive consideration/investigation of exposure has been completed.
4. Determine the best bank available to issue the LC’s, LG’s in terms of service and cost.
5. Constant surveillance mechanism to monitor the cost of opening letters of credit and bank guarantees and make sure recording in the accounts correctly.
6. Monitoring the closure of LC’s, LG’s, STL, and PPF to effectively manage the company credit line.
7. Usage of Company tool application for Trade finance activities.
9. Ensuring that all supplier invoices under the LC are recorded to ensure completeness and accurate settlements/ reconciliations.
10. Monitor all LC payments accounted in ERP system through verification against each purchase order and pro-forma invoices.
11. Ensure that all the documents per LC terms \[Performa invoice, commercial invoice & delivery quality reports\] are available for inventory recording.
12. Follow up with division and RFC on any necessary corrections and amendments.
13. Ensure documents advice received from bank must be signed by signatories and submit to bank to collect the documents.
14. Follow-up with banks for project finance activities.
15. Prepare and present weekly LC’s forecast and capital reports to management.
16. Follow-up all LG’s effectively and work to collect the amounts of advances LG’s in time and reduced it by stages of the life of the project.
