- Monitor the environmental conditions of a datacentre to ensure they are optimum for servers, routers, and other devices.
- Conduct inspections on power and cooling systems to ensure they are operational and efficient.
- Troubleshoot and Conduct Preventive Maintenance and Emergency ( corrective Maintenance) Repairs on Critical Facilities Equipment within the Datacentre as specified and on schedule
- Track, record, report and manage all equipment move-in and move-out of the datacentres.
- Manage space planning, power and cooling services, equipment installations, physical security, business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Perform periodic onsite assessments and audits of operations, electrical, mechanical and alarms systems.
- Onsite supervision for all critical facility maintenance.
- Respond to incidents following the standard incident response procedure & track till closure
- Escort and work effectively with subcontractors, ensure they are abiding by Datacentre work rules.
- Supervise the design and implementation of new projects and retrofits of existing facilities.
- Interacting with support teams from multiple business units as well as local contractors and vendors.
- Develop reliability reports to ensure availability and capacity targets are achieved and maintained with 100% uptime.
- Ensure that documents library and Datacentres are clean and tidy always.
- Maintain access permissions to Datacentres in coordination with all concerned and keep the related records to protect facilities and equipment data confidentiality as per related procedures.
- Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and team work.
- Coordinate, and oversee all maintenance vendors to ensure personnel safety, protect the Facility’s critical equipment, and maintain power to the critical load.
- Follow up installation and software loading for all GSM equipment.
- Follow up corrective action and solving GSM and power solution problems.
- Performing preventive maintenance according to monthly plan.
- Follow up radio modification, upgrade and swap for radio sites.
Bachelor Degree from Electrical and Electronics institute on Specialization of Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering
