Core strengths in plant maintenance, Equipment Installation, Commissioning, Pre
commissioning, for Edible Oil Refinery (400 T.P.D, 200 T.P.D, 100 T.P.D) which involving
GEA Westphalia Oil separators, Different types of Pumps, horizontal and vertical fire tube
boilers, low pressure Compressor and Three Units of High Pressure '40 bar' Maintenance
AF Compressor type. Added to following welding and fabrication work.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery,
computerized systems to oversee routine maintenance and organize repairs.
• designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods Provide Managerial
support in case of problems and assist in resolution of problems.
• Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs, and
reports
• Inspect records and log book entries, and communicate with other plant personnel,
in order to assess equipment operating status.
• carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment
faults,
• Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production
colleagues
• Coordination with the supply chain, and overall plant operations, packaging,
purchase, logistics, warehouse and finance.
• Ensures the completeness of shift round checklists, routine daily/weekly/monthly
test checklists etc.
• Availability of consumables/Spares for Maintenance Work, knowledge of ERP
• Assists in budget planning and control
• Submits necessary reports and recommendations to the Operations Manager
concerning equipment/plant status and/or problems
• Technical follow - up of Corrective Maintenance.
• Preventive Maintenance Implementation.
• Corrective Maintenance (repair) Implementation
• improving health and safety policies and procedures
• Identifies causes and extent of malfunction or breakdown and Prescribes repair
procedures that may resolve the problem diagnosed.
• Involved in the preparation of maintenance program schedules, including
manpower and spare parts requirement.
Job Duties:
Organising routine servicing schedules
Allocating work to a team of fitters
Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate
Fitting new parts
Carrying out quality inspections
Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed
Keeping production managers informed of progress
Organising teams to make sure 24-hour cover is available
