ACADEMIC PROJECTS International Finance: Evaluated 5 year performance of Indus Motors by analyzing its financials, WACC, dividend and growth analysis, ratio analysis, and capital structure. Islamic Banking and Finance: prepared a detailed report on Meezan bank’s treasury management, asset management and liability management in order to learn how Islamic banks carry their operations. Portfolio Construction: made a diversified,virtual portfolio worth Rs. 50,000,000 with investments in 10 different financial assets across a range of risk levels. Securities considered for this project included products offered by banks, stocks and mutual fund units. Entrepreneurship: from conceiving an idea to making a business plan, the project required industry analysis, formulation of marketing strategy, financial forecasting and organizational planning. Analysis of Financial Statement: analyzed 10 year financials of Maple Leaf Cement in order to know the profitability, risk, and efficiency of the company. Methods applied included vertical analysis, horizontal analysis, ratio comparisons, YoY analysis and DuPont analysis
