The job entails conducting analytical reports on the economy as well as sectors of interest to the
investor community and establishing marketing tools for road shows. Assumed responsibilities
include:  Prepares a marketing macro presentation to be used for promotion, and provides other macro
documentations as drafting several speeches to the Minister of Investment as well as the
Principal Deputy Minister.  Prepares analytical reports on the regulatory and policy decisions affecting the economy and
investments growth such as the capital gains tax and the state’s budget.  Creates marketing strategies for priority sectors (selected based on their contribution to
employment and growth) to be part of promotional road shows. Covered sectors: logistics and
consumer goods.  Participates in the coordination for the projects, which were presented during the Egypt Economic
Development Conference in March 2015.  Coordinates the issuance of a booklet on Egypt’s Investment Climate highlighting target sectors
and growth opportunities that was presented at the Egypt Economic Development Conference in
March 2015.  Participates in the establishment of the first Investment E-map, which provides a catchy,
interactive and investor friendly display of targeted sectors and investment opportunities to act
as a web based investment decision support system. It was launched during the Egypt Economic
Development Conference in March 2015.  Screens and prioritizes potential opportunities presented by various governorates to come up
with a short-list of projects to be presented to investors.  Participates in assessing Booz and Company's (Booz Allen Hamilton) Egypt’s recovery plan.  Assists in preparing a strategy document for the Ministry with proposed KPIs.  Attends several meetings with top investors/embassies of which part was directed to problem
solving as well as promotional efforts.  Assists in establishing a problem solving matrix follow-up that aimed at creating periodical
statistical reports on investors’ problems solving progress.  Provides commentary on documents/issues related to the government’s plan and investment
climate.

Prepares analytical reports on the Egyptian economy as well as regional ones. This
included a full coverage for the developments in the Egyptian economy, assessment
of the impact of the recent financial crisis, a brief on other economies including
Mauritius, Singapore and Lebanon.
 Evaluates thoroughly newspaper economic reporting including opposition and
prepares daily brief highlighting major developments in the economy along with stock
market performance and listed companies news in Egypt to provide
recommendations and views on the news impact.
 Assesses the economic impact of national events as well as the social and political
scene in Egypt and the region. Produces research on the global economy and the
key developments that may influence Egypt’s outlook and investment decisions.
 Analyzes the performance of sectors and their contribution to the country’s economic
growth. Provides a SWOT analysis for the Egyptian economy indicating key potential
areas. In addition to, analyzing how exchange rates affect the competitiveness and
productivity of the different sectors within the economy.
 Develops methods and procedures for obtaining, understanding and interpreting data
to create various econometric modeling techniques to develop economic forecasts.
 Provides economic advice to a range of stakeholders through evaluating past and
present economic issues and trends to stay abreast of economic changes.
 Conducts numerous oral and visual presentations, which non-technical audiences
must be able to understand thoroughly in order to inform the economic situation and
outlook.

Prepares macro and micro-economic reports on key sectors of the Egyptian economy:tourism, health, and construction.
 Drafts write-ups on various aspects in the economic and political scenery in Egypt. This includes opposition papers on healthcare services in Egypt, economics of the Middle East, future of the Moslem minds, amendment of the constitution and the recent parliamentary elections.
 Carries out a regular extensive research project on EIEF newsletter, which involves gathering data, analyzing trends on business development, stock market, economy and enterprise. Based on results, prepares a monthly electronic newsletter that provides a comprehensive picture of the latest happenings in Egypt.
 Prepares all technical background documents related to EIEF activities (conferences, seminars, roundtables, debates), annual reports on the achievements of the Forum and develops and updates a complete website for EIEF, and this includes gathering information, providing insights to the website, and consulting with the IT department.
 Prepares sectoral surveys as well as surveys on the Egyptian economy which helps monitor developments in key Egyptian sectors.
 Reports daily on Cairo press by providing a full insight on Egyptian newspapers including opposition.
 Brainstorms and suggests topics related to the current economic and political situations in Egypt, and designs session structures with appropriate speakers for various EIEF activities that include regional conferences, roundtables and debates. As well as maintains an updated record of data and statistics and follows-up on new legislation to answer various business inquires.
