Brand Manager - KFC Egypt, Americana Group Egypt
Responsible for the strategies and promotions to establish and grow the brand presence in the market while serving as liaison between operations, design, production, and the consumer to ensure profit targets are achieved, margins maintained & expenses controlled.
Strategy and Planning - Planning and implementing marketing mix activities for KFC Egypt; according to approved brand strategy, including promotional programs, marketing research projects, and advertising activities.
Campaign Management - Monitoring Daily Sales Performance of regular items as well as Limited Time Offers (LTOs). Launching and overseeing advertising and media planning.
Research & Analysis - Monitoring competition and assisting in the development of an annual marketing plan with forecasting budget spend/commitments per project. Analysis of the industry price benchmarks.
Digital - Managing KFC Egypt website design process and optimizing Online Ordering with a dedicated online calendar after an effective website launch.
Packaging - Customizing all brands' related packaging, leading a standardization package development project with the Procurement Department and handling all forecasted orders.
Plan and close complex deals with Consulting Sales Representatives while managing issues of contractual concern with Legal and other approvers.
Perform egregious terms reviews on customer proposed contracts and identify issues with Legal.
Draft Complex Consulting contracts for non standard transactions based on current policies, requests from customer and sales representatives.
Analyze proposed contract terms and conditions and provide feedback to sales and customers on issues of concerns and recommend alternatives that are viable from a Business Practices and Revenue Recognition point of view.
Consider Risk Management recommendations in the project’s work flow of approvals.
Provide advice and guidance to Consultants on what items require approval, and how to prepare the approval request.
Ensure all necessary approvals have been obtained prior to releasing a contract to Customer and ensure compliance with Oracle guidelines (pricing, revenue recognition, business practices, risk management, credit, legal, contract management, etc.)
Act as liaison between Sales, Credit, License, Business Practices, Revenue Recognition, and customers to resolve contractual business issues for a project’s closure.
Participated in establishing the company’s contracting and procurement procedures.
Prepared tender documents and followed up on issued tenders.
Participated in negotiating offers received by Contractors and Vendors.
Took part in the Technical and Commercial Evaluation for the received offers in tenders.
Prepared Final Contracts.
Took part in organizing Board of Directors Meetings
Designed branded material for the company
Briefed agencies, prepared plans and detailed action lists for projects.
Worked on a launch of the Value Added Services (VAS)
Evaluated artwork presented by the agencies and followed up on the amendments agreed upon with the team.
Worked on a plan for updating the website of the company in terms of structure, content and design.
Took part in preparing a yearly plan for integrating all the activities and projects in 2004, under the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of TE and participated in organizing and supervising Company’s booth at Cairo ICT 2004
