Graduation Project: Title: Optimal Management of Distributed Generating Units Within Residential Application. Grade:Excellent In this project, a proposed technique to manage the operation of different DG units within the residential applications is introduced. In order to show this idea, a proposed system is constructed and discussed. This system consists of one smart home containing FC and PV systems with different rating and a complete communication infrastructure. The optimization process is performed over an objective function that aims to minimize the total daily operating cost for the whole system. Constraints associated with FC unit are included in the optimization problem to reflect some of the additional considerations that are frequently found in this type of FC. The optimization process takes place using GA technique. Finally, the obtained optimal results are sent to each DG unit through a fully automated system.
