2013 onwards Hyundai Division underwent organizational changes one of which was the segregation of its business units, Where Vehicle sales and service department were continuing as normal & the “Parts” Department was formed as a separate business.
Same as below mentioned including:
• Development of new mapping to ERP and establishing a new business reporting module.
• Segregating the account balances between the existing and the newly formed business.
• Critical analysis of Parts stock levels and their provisions.
• Analyzing Account Receivable to asses over aged balances and their appropriate provisions.
• Liaison with the I.T in respect of implementation of Auto line, and migrating data from existing ERP to Auto Line.
• Prepare the monthly management accounts & various schedules as required by the Financials for the Parts Division.
• Assist to prepare the month end closing adjustments by each business unit & each profit center with the FRM.
• Ensure the accuracy of the trail balance after closing adjustments.
• Review the AR Aging report to ensure the clearing of credits on regular basis and support to the relevant AR to clean up.
• Preparations of the car costing file by product & by consignment and analyze with the accounting system.
• Preparing daily stock and stock provision analysis.
• Reconciling the central treasury account with the cars and parts costing accounts & ensure the receiving of relevant Debit Notes.
• Continuously monitoring the business investment and maintaining the analytical file for Capex to track the actual spending on various projects.
• Liaison with the IT team on regular basis for Improvement of the processes in the SAP with consult to the FRM and implementation of the required reports format.
• Closely monitoring the controlling area of the business and ensure its mapping with all business units.
• Assist to FRM on other projects specifically assigned by the management.
• Invoices - Ensuring through different mediums the accuracy of the documents, its billing amount and matching relevant returns.
• Preparation of the vouchers and posting them to the system (SAP).
• Preparation of various management reports assisting both the finance and the operations.
• Compliance controls.
