• Operating, maintaining and administering Data Network & Packet Core platforms carrying production traffic (Routers (Cisco and Juniper), Switches, Firewalls (SRX, Netscreen), GGSNs, DNSs and AAA servers).
• Revising all configuration Work Orders (W.Os) submitted by Data Network & Packet Core development teams before deployment.
• Troubleshooting all Data Network & Packet Core problems and handling incidents of higher severity's (Svr1, Svr2 and Svr3) and acted as highest point of technical escalation before vendor intervention.
• Monitoring data traffic trends and data services (web, WAP, MMS, CWS, Blackberry and data roaming). Auditing Data Network & Packet Core platforms’ health checks done by team’s First Line Support.
• Ensuring SLA fulfillment for incidents, W.Os and access requests on Service Manager Software assigned to Data Network & Packet Core account and abided to Change Management & Control rules and regulations.
• Installing, configuring and Troubleshooting juniper routers MX series, M series and T series• Solving core problems escalated by customers especially the ISPs
• Migrate Configuration from CISCO IOS and XR IOS to JUNOS
• Testing solutions and new features in lab
• Open Technical cases with JTAC
• Supports new Juniper products used in ISP networks like JUNOS SPACE and WANDL
• Instructs technical sessions to Customer on Juniper products
• Initiation of Banking sector’s support to provide a high level of support for banking customers such as (BM, BDC, HSBC, CA, Mashrek bank, etc. )
• Acting as a first level of escalation.
• Supervising and orienting team members in order to maintain customer’s satisfaction.
• Provide support and guidance to team members.

• Supporting leased lines & MPLS VPN issues of enterprise customers.
• Installing & configuring customers’ premises (SHDSL modems and CE/CPE routers).
• Configuring SHDSL local loop terminations on ATM and IP DSLAMs (Alcatel, Huawei).
• Configuring TDM modems, E1 converters and EFM modems.
• Troubleshooting Pre-WiMAX and Fiber solutions.
• Configuring and troubleshooting MPLS L2 & L3 VPN on PE routers Cisco 7206VXR, 7600, ASR1K, GSR12K & Juniper M7i, M10i, MX104 & M320.
• Troubleshooting PE-CE routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, Static)..
• Troubleshooting international TDM circuits and International Private Leased Circuits (IPLC).
• Troubleshooting inter-AS Layer 3 and Layer 2 VPN customers.
• Monitoring customers and network nodes through SNMP Server.
• Designing alternative solutions to maintain customer Service Level Agreement (SLA).
