Job Responsibilities
.
• Providing training to juniors, shift planning, and supervision in Casting and furnace.
• Continuous process monitoring and giving feedback to the concern department
• Recording the process parameters in SAP
• Preparing Daily, monthly reports
• Facing Internal and external ISO audits
• Independently handling casting, furnace hot rolling mill operations
• Maintaining equipment availability and reliability with a goal to achieve lowest production loss against equipment breakdowns.
• To make daily production and maintenance planning to achieve the targets and minimize Cost of Production
• Ensure constant flow rate of metal for production.
• Maintain oxygen level in metal from furnace to final rod.
• Ensure good flow of molten melt and maintain pool level
• Maintain water quality and level of casting cooling tank, Emulsion tank, Pickling &Quenching
• Check grain structure of cast bar
• Utilization of man and machine to achieve preset production targets
• Shift-in charge in Continuous Casting and Rolling plant
• Continuous observe Burner for any chock up
• Remove impurities from the surface of molten metal, using sample tools
• Observe and maintain co % inside furnace
• Check materials to be charged into furnaces

• Active participant in “Performance Enhancement Plan” programs and given a lot of suggestions for better Process and Quality Controls
• Got selected for an abroad assignment in a very short span of 7 months in view of excellent performance
• Active member of successful commissioning of Copper Casting and Rolling plant at Fujairah without any incidents and accidents within a shortest span of 2 months
• Rewarded with “CEO Kitty ’’ for reducing DM water Consumption 200 m3 per month
• Rewarded with “CEO Kitty ’’ for reducing Consumption of acetylene
