Assist in the identification of communities in the targeted areas and build good relationships with partners and stakeholders (Municipalities, Health directorates, Education Directorate).
Mapping of targeted communities to identify volunteers, community leaders, leading NGOs and businesses, schools, health centers, youth centers and governmental institutions and other assets.
Assist in organizing and facilitating community meetings in each of the targeted communities.
Organize and facilitate capacity building and training interventions related to community engagement.
Identify and follow up with other partners/stakeholders to address community needs, stressors and challenges.

Maintain and prepare photos and reports on all sessions, meetings and site visits
Maintain a good relationship with the government institutions and municipalities in Irbid
Ensure that USAID CEP’s communications materials (e.g. banners) are visible and present
in all events, trainings, ceremonies etc.
Submit and update required reports by the deadlines
Participate and engage in any USAID CEP trainings and meetings as requested by supervisor
Work with gender team to ensure effective integration and mainstreaming of gender into all program activities.
Supervise and support children’s play activities.
Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the Child Friendly Space.
Conduct a daily visual assessment of the children and ensure a variety of structured games and activities within the Child Friendly Space, catering to the needs of children of different ages, genders, and abilities.
Ensure that children feel comfortable, safe, and respected.
Ensure that children’s participation and input form the basis of the Child Friendly Space and the activities.
Establish a rotation system to promote the sharing of equipment and games between children
Be a positive role model and demonstrate conflict-solving behaviors.
Ensure that all games and equipment are accounted for and stored securely end of the day.
Liaise with parents and the community regularly to keep them informed of any developments or problems within the Child Friendly Space and the surrounding areas.
Screen for and monitor protection needs and gaps in and around the Child Friendly Space.
I assisted the head of the Women and Child Unit at NCHR in the day-to-day work, and in the preparations of the human rights shadow report.
Plan and undertake interviews with household samples and fill relevant questionnaires.
Provide basic analysis and information in writing or verbally.
Provide feedback on the questionnaire design.
Provide support for data entry.

PPCR is a one-year EU-funded Program under TEMPUS, which was done in cooperation between the Labor Institute/University of Jordan and the International Institute of Social Studies, ERASMUS University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The porgramme promotes the child's rights in public policy for academic and professionals. The program curricula included child and law, children in a changing economy, monitoring and evaluation, public finance and social budgeting, and improving services for children.
