• Checks cable laying, trenching, cable identification, cable-
pulling procedure, and loop checks as per the approved
drawings.
• Performs the quality of the materials to be unused and new
according to Aramco standards.
• Surveillance at the site to maintain the quality of electrical
conduits, cable trays, switchgear panels, duct banks, and
electrical accessories that the contractor has been install
them.
• Performs visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating
and material for connection.
• Completes the specific inspections on materials, equipment
and construction/installation activities such as grounding
system and battery charger on site.
• Witnesses the tests of continuity, insulation resistance, and
the pre-commissioning of the electrical materials in Gas
Insulation Switchgear.
• Ensure conformity with the Saudi Aramco Typical Inspection
Plan and obtain the relevant documentation.
• Check procedures of the equipment to be use in tests,
controls, inspections, and manage certifying documents.
• Report the issues to the General Inspection Services (GIS)
management through Quality Management Inspection
System (QMIS).
