Provide assistance to maintain and enhance the Banks core systems, namely, BMS, Legal Searches System and Appraisal System - Ensure up time of the systems.
•Identify areas in the Bank where processes can be automated to increase efficiency and recommendation, plan and conduct feasibility studies of existing and proposed IT projects in line with the Banks business objective.
•Make programming modifications to existing host programs; enhance application programs; prepare user and system documentation.
•Manage the bank’s Internet and Intranet sites.
•Assisted in the development of Bank’s website, ensuring that the website is easily navigable and accessible.
•Development on the Content Management System (Intranet).
•Provided assistance for strategic planning for marketing the Bank’s product/services through the internet.
•Database Administration
•Ensure proper backups are done to the databases as required by the DRP/BCP.
•Ensure security and integrity of the data.
•Database design availability (ensuring maximum uptime), performance (ensuring maximum performance) and development and testing support.
•Assist Process Stakeholders
•Assist Finance Department during End of Month processing.
•Generate End of Month reports for Finance Department to be submitted to Reserve Bank of Fiji and Ministry of Finance.
•Generate End of Month Reports (Dumps) for Business Analysts.
•Generate ad hoc reports as requested by FDB staff.
•Assist Manager IT & MIS and IT Business Analyst in the provision of queries by other departments of the Bank.
•Conduct branch visits to the North and West on routine basis and recommend on the feedback gathered on BMS during the visit to the Manager MIS/IT.
•Provide more efficient and better services by identifying and redeveloping existing services.
•Have successfully implemented:
•HR Survey project (MVC architecture)
•ICT Helpdesk System Revamp project (MVC architecture)
•FDB Intranet System (using WordPress CMS)
- Develop applications and database systems through analysis of business requirements, systems designing and programming. Integrating and automating manual systems. (PERL, SQL, HTML).
- Software documentation. Document all phases of the project.
- Implemented HR Helpdesk system (ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus).
- Designed USP HR website (HTML, Java-scripting, CSS) (Typo3).
- Prepared reports through statistical data analysis (HR data for Senior Management Team and Faculities).
- Process Mapping (Process re-engineering) with Agile Project Management. Gathering of HR technical data on business operations to present recommendations for improving existing business processes.
- Experience with Ellucian Banner (ERP) HR module and PeopleAdmin (eRecruit) softwares.
