Project Description : Engineering, procurement and construction for following scope of work .
Extension of Gathering station. Erection of Gas Recovery, Gas booster & Gas injection compressor . Erection of Separator & AP flare . Related piping and structural work .
Piping work of CS, LTCS, DSS and CRA material for sour services. Electrical and instrumentation work related to project.
Scope of work : Preparation of technical and commercial offer for industrial gear box based on input from clients .To check initial design and manufacturing feasibilities for the selected gear box .
Communicate and provide necessary technical back up to marketing branch in India and abroad.
in project management, proposals and tendering, quantity surveying planning and project controls.
Involved in project management of various project phases from initiation to close out as per the followings.
•Receipt of project documents after award of the project. Review of project scope / BOQ, time schedule and milestones.
•Planning of resources and mobilization for the project. Carry out complete study of project scope with project team and finalize WBS directory.
•Lead the planning and project control team for preparation of project organization structure and project execution plan. Monitor the project execution plans and revise/ detail it as appropriate during project execution to meet project goals.
•Finalization of plan for procurement and subcontracts.
•Liase with engineering subcontractor during engineering execution in order to meet overall project goals considering requirement of engineering deliverable priorities for critical procurements and site construction activities as per project execution plan.
•Co-ordinate and expedite engineering for timely completion of design review, HAZOP review etc and release AFC drawings and RFQs.
•Co-ordinate with procurements team for monitoring of procurement activities including engineering co-ordination for Technical bid evaluation, PO placement, approval of vendor drawings, review and approval of vendor ITPs, Inspection at vendor works, FAT and delivery at site.
•Co-ordination between site team regarding engineering support and any issue arising at site and find out engineering solution in consultation with engineering team and client / end user.
•Attending progress meetings and follow up for the actions to be taken.
•Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.
•Take part in the project management review and risk management review.
•Timely approval of payment certificate to submit monthly invoices to client and follow up.
•Monitor cash flow.
•Ensure timely hand over of vendor documents / Final test pack documents submission and approval from client.
•Submission and follow up for final invoices and milestones claims.
Change control :-
•Identify & Notify any Potential/Actual Change.
•Evaluate impact on Project Budget & Schedule.
•Work out Schedule Impact Analysis on account of Change Orders and Claims and advise Management.
•Revises construction schedule in light of variation orders in coordination with Management and Construction Department, and work out the overall cost adjustments and the need for time extension, if any.
•Preparation and submission of project extension proposal with valid back up documents.
•Record variations to contract during entire project and to claim with detailed break up as per contract requirement.
Sub contract management
•Preliminary evaluation (technical and commercial) for subcontractor before finalization.
•Co-ordinate procurement / subcontract department for preparation of subcontract work orders.
•Certification of subcontractor’s invoices.
•Progress monitoring of subcontractors. Meeting with subcontractor for progress review and analysis.
•Ensure compliance to ICV ( In country value ) requirements while finalizing subcontracts. LCC and SME compliance as per project requirements.
The Muscat-Sohar Product Pipeline (MSPP) project comprises the construction of around 300 kilometers of various multiproduct pipelines and a 175, 000 m3 storage terminal at Al Jifnain near Seeb in the Sultanate of Oman. It includes a pipeline network between Mina al Fahal refinery and the storage terminal, as well as a pipeline link between the terminal and the Sohar refinery.
Designed to transport more than 5.4 million cubic meters of liquids, the pipeline network will also be bi-directional, allowing for liquids to be pumped in the reverse direction. The Al Jifnain terminal on the other hand will be equipped loading racks designed to allow for the simultaneously loading of multiple fuel trucks operated by the Sultanate’s main fuel distribution companies.
