• Review Condition of Contract and preparation of Sub-contract Agreement.
• Preparation of Interim Payment Application in accordance with payment mechanism, procedures and standards ensuring that all executed works are measured and claimed immediately at the end of each interim payment period.
• Liaise with the engineer’s and employer’s quantity surveyor’s in verifying measured quantities and processing payments.
• Perform Contractual claim - Variation / Extension of time.
• Checking subcontractors & suppliers Payment Application and Preparation of Payment Certificate.
• Preparation of final account.
• Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence and produce reports.
• Attend site visits and meetings as and when required.
• Communicate regularly with project staff and specialist subcontractors to ensure commercial controls are in place, understood and followed at all times
• Maintaining and monitoring logs.
• Reviewed and analyzing condition of contract and specifications.
• Performed quantity take-off in Auto CAD, PDF and Hard copies (structural -Steel structure & Concrete structure), Architectural - Internal finishes & façade, landscape and infrastructure)
• Checked quantities and tender schedules.
• Preparation of BOQ as per standard method of measurement.
• Familiar with SMM7, CESMM3, NRM, Qatar Construction Standard, and FIDIC (Red book).
• Quick quantity check by using BUA & Pro rata method, if needed.
• Preparation of tender packages and following up quotation.
• Coordinated, pre-qualified vendors and sub-contractors. Analyzed and valued quotations from Subcontractors/ Vendors for preparing estimates.
• Communicating with persons inside and outside the organization for necessary information and documents for preparing bid submissions.
• Rate analysis for variation orders.
• Preparation of Interim payment application.
• Reviewing subcontractors & suppliers payment application.
• Progress monitoring and Re-measurement or site measurement as required.
• Preparing material on site schedule.
• Preparation of monthly progress report.
• Preparation of final account.
• Deep excavation with shoring (permanent & temporary) and dewatering
• Reinforcement, Aluminum and conventional formwork, concrete of pile caps, columns, walls, beams and Slabs
• Concrete testing
• Handling and use theodolite and level machines.
• Safety arrangement.
• Preparing bar bending schedule.
• Waterproofing work to substructure, water tight structure, wet areas & roof.
Graduated in Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering(BTEC)-2014 This is a Full time course composed of 3 years Academic studies and half years In-plant training.The HNDE course is governed by the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) under the Ministry of Higher Education.
