• Leading a team responsible in the subscriber rollout and MSO build for the Saudi Arabian Public Safety Network.
• Create Subscriber Fleetmapping with 100 thousand plus subscriber.
• System integration of MOTOROLA MSO, AVIAT SPDH, CCTV, NOC and Dispatch Centers.
• Attend detailed design review meetings for Motorola TETRA system infrastructure, Fortek CAD system, Harris Stratex bearer system and CCTV/Access Control System.
• Attended Factory Acceptance Testing of MOTOROLA TETRA (Core Switch, BTS and dispatcher) in Berlin Germany.
• Design System wide IP plan for overall requirement of MOI project involving multi vendor telecom equipments such as Motorola Customer Network Enterprise, Subscribers Data Network, Harris Stratex bearer system, Fortek CAD systems and CCTV/Access Control system.
• Specify and assist in preparation of test plans for network performance as related to system integration, commissioning and functionality of system network elements.
• Assist with supervision of Tetra system installation, performance tests and acceptance tests as and when directed by engineering manager.
• Prepare required site documents and reports for submission to the client.
• Review factory acceptance test procedure, system infrastructure documents and conformity matrix from system vendors.
• Attend factory acceptance testing for Motorola TETRA and Harris Stratex bearer system.
• Provide technical assistance, recommend guidelines test plans to implementation team.
• Provide technical assistance to GPT Project Manager in the integration and commissioning of Motorola Dimetra IP 5.2. This involves review of EBTS and MSO upgrade implementation plan. Review of Fleet mapping for the inter Zone connectivity and the migration procedure from Motorola Dimetra 4.0 Q3-03 to Dimetra IP 5.2. Upgrade to Dimetra IP 5.2 completed July 2007.
• Responsible in the level 3 support for normal operations of Motorola MSO.
• Coordinate with Motorola Support Centre ESSC to root cause level 4 service affecting faults.
• Monthly review of MOTOROLA TETRA system performance, and provide technical advice to network manager if there is a degradation of system performance.
• Create technical handbooks and provide Motorola Private Network Management Suite training to Network engineers assigned at Regional Control Centre.
• Provide technical assistance to GPT Project Manager in the integration and commissioning of Motorola Dimetra 4.0 at SANG network, involving Motorola MSO and Enhanced Radio Base Stations. Also assist site inspector in the installation of MSO and RBS.
• Conducted a MSO upgrade from Dimetra 4.0 to Dimetra 4.0 Q3-3, this involved the installation of UNIX OS and application servers, core and data routers, Motorola Private Network Management System, and restoration of system database.
• Responsible in the level 3 support regional Dimetra MSO.
• Optimization and management of Marconi SDH and PDH Network.
• Network Management Tools for the Tetra Network and SDH Network
• Expertise in Thales management tools for encryption and security of the Network
• Provide technical assistance to Station Engineer
• Provide OJT to GPT and SANG technical staff assigned to the site
