Part of Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE) Corporate & Operations Marketing Department. In-house Graphic Designer for all properties within Dubai Festival City, main duties include creating/revising/corrections/updating artworks of signature brochures for Dubai Festival City and from outsourced Ad Agencies. Created billboards, hoardings, banners for strategic locations within Dubai and all inside properties of Dubai Festival City including wayfinding signs etc. Designed Dubai Festival City Mall directory, Designed graphic panels for Al-Futtain Group Real Estate Exhibition and Events (MAPIC-France, Cityscape Dubai 2006-2007 & 2008, Arabian Travel Market, MECSC etc.) Designed Dubai Festival City Commemorative Magazine 2008, Newsletters, Print ads etc. & some commissioned photography) Work also includes being part of creating and updating Marketing collaterals for Cairo Festival City.

Main duties: Reports to and is supervised by the Operations and Marketing Head • Responsible for the coordination and implementation of all graphic request, projects and assignments • Responsible for concept development in visual elements such as posters, brochures, flyers, menus, logos, print ads, signage and other promotional materials for advertising purposes • Prepares comprehensive lay-outs of designs using techniques such as illustrations and application for computer graphics design • Coordinates with Outlet Managers to determine format, approach and content which will be most effective and meet objectives concerning all graphic request
Mentoring from the Creative Director and work includes as member of a Graphic design team • Consults with clients to establish the nature and content of design and illustration for reproduction • Determines the medium best suited to produce desired visual effects and method of reproduction • Prepares specification for design • Design logos, magazine ads, brochures, labels, signage etc.
Design, creates and prepare drawings and other original artworks using poster color, water color, pencil and airbrush for illustration • Makes and paints props, signages, backdrops which requires carrying props, equipment, climb ladders and work in confined areas; take down display after promotion • Assemble display using a variety of materials together with a team of visual artist
