Leading safety dept in supporting operations integregrity with regards to health safety environment aspects of the company.
Provide support to the project by maintaining a visible presence to the field performing site visits to the project site from time to time whenever necessary and make constant coordination with the safety manager.
Assist in daily mentoring, coaching and implementation of HSE programs in the field.
Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislations and standards to ensure compliance.
Inform the project management team and supervision of any new or conflictive legislative matters that could impact the project.
Develop a site Safety Management Plan ( SMP ) for the project to ensure a safe work environment for all company employees, contractors, visitors and community.
Regularly audit the SMP for compliance and update to ensure the alignment with project scope and conditions.
Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately.
Participate and assist project supervisor during incident investigations to determine root cause and formulate necessary corrective actions when necessary.
Ensure incident corrective actions are being followed up and completed.
Ensure safety advisors are verifying field staff training and competencies.
Review safety obligations of the clients and contractors are being carried out as per terms of agreement, communicated to the project managers, supervisors, foremans and safety advisors for compliance.
Ensure safety boards with postings including but not limited to; health and safety policy, inspection and audit results, project hazard assessments, location of first aid etc are maintained and current.
Communicate, coach and assist field staff to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met. Conduct a regular meeting for proper safety awareness.

Finish Mechanical engineering course and graduated after 5 years . last 2 years is done while being a working student to support studies.
