30% - Financial controlling: Develop and manage accounting, reporting, compliance, and control activities
• Ensure that the monthly and quarterly reporting requirements are met and that accounting processes are in line with the Company policies and local laws and regulations.
• Manage, implement and maintain the control system and SOX processes according to the Company policies and local requirements
• Ensure all transaction processes are effective, robust, efficient, and compliant, leveraging best practice processes, tools, and systems. Spanning all key processes AP, Credit & AR, direct and indirect taxes
• Ensure stakeholders and business colleagues understand and execute their control and compliance responsibilities
• Monitor and implement an early warning system for deviations in GL balances beyond reasonable limits
50% - Finance Business Partnering: Support profitable business growth through decision support, financial planning & analysis
• Financial statements Management/Analysis for the MEA region
• Establish and sustain forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes to ensure the timely/accurate preparation of quarterly analytics and management reports/forecasts.
• Lead cash flow management activities to manage liquidity and credit risk and ensure financial control requirements
• Perform financial planning and analysis for the Region across the Middle East & Africa, financial accounting and reporting duties, and follow internal control guidance and compliance requirements.
• Generate financial reports and variance analysis accurately & on time to meet deadlines and support management needs.
• Prepare business performance analysis and perform financial reporting across all segments.
20% - Tax, Treasury, and Risk Management
• Ensure effective local direct and indirect tax and treasury processes and associated compliance
• Effectively manage compliance with IFRS and local tax matters in close cooperation with the corporate/regional tax team

• Partner with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company.
• Gather financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions).
• Drive the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.
• Communicate and drive adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies.
• Consult with business leaders to guide and influence long- term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
• Forecast financial results within the broadest scope.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to analysts.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.

• Review the functions of the Finance Dept. on purchasing procedures and processes such as Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, cheques requisitions, petty cash disbursements and control
• To provide sound financial advice to CEO and other Senior Management colleagues, direct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash and balance sheet management
• Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the Company to include budgeting and conservation of assets
• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures of the Company.
• Develop and direct the implementation of the Company’s strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems
• Follows up on the execution of approved plans and programs for the organizations.
• Ensures that Finance Department is staffed with competent personnel and that key personnel are continuously trained and developed to provide continuity and stability within assigned organizations.
• Monitor the Company’s investments and provide monthly reports for the status of investments and investment options.
• Preparing cost centers analysis, by analyzing product costing and its effect on Profit and Loss Accounts, controlling inventory.

Performs accounts payable duties such as verifying all invoices for payment, ensure
expenditures are charged to appropriate accounts.

Work in the Accounting Advisory Services department with a team of twenty employees. All of the accounting is done using a very advanced accounting Software.
