Final Year Project: DC Motor Speed Control through Bluetooth using PID Control In this project, a user can set his own desired speed according to his requirement. I have controlled speed of 180 v, 2A DC motor automatically by servo mechanism. I have implemented a special designed three channel optical encoder which counts pulses for 1 second and calculates the current speed. I have implemented digital PID control in arduino which automatically calculates error and sets the current speed to the desired speed. In This whole scenario was controlled wirelessly via Bluetooth. This project is very efficient and cost effective. This was also sponsored by National Development Complex (NDC).
