Roles & Responsibilities
• Prepare and analyze tender documents, including bill of quantities.
• Participate in the tendering process.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
• Generate regular cost reports and highlight any deviations from the budget.
• Provide recommendations on contract terms and conditions.
• Conduct benchmarking exercises to compare project costs against industry standards.
• Handle Variation Orders (VOs) and negotiations with the Client and subcontractors.
• Prepare Interim Payment Application (IPA) with all supporting documents and submit to the Client.
• Evaluate the subcontractors Interim Payment Application (IPA) and prepare the Interim Payment Certificate (IPC).
• Implement Value Engineering (VE) initiatives to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality.
• Support to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and timely project deliverables.
• Coordinate Engineer Instructions (EIs) with project teams.
• Stay updated on local regulations and ensures that all cost management practices comply with relevant laws and standards in Saudi Arabia.
Projects : Lusail Carpark (Client - Arabtec) Doha Metro Redline (Client - BMC Qatar)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop comprehensive cost plans for construction projects during the pre contract phase.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and financial constraints, Monitor and control project costs throughout the pre contract stage.
• Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project costs, Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize cost overruns.
• Evaluate design alternatives and propose value engineering solutions to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations based on cost-benefit analyses.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential cost implications and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Projects : Msheireb Downtown (Client - Arabtec) Hyatt Plaza (Client - Hyatt Plaza)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage project cash flow to ensure timely payments, optimize financial resources, and maintain healthy project liquidity.
• Assess and manage contract claims, resolving disputes efficiently while safeguarding the companys interests.
• Conduct benchmarking studies to compare project costs with industry standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed cost reports to clients, providing transparent insights into project financial status and forecasting.
• Integrate cost control measures to ensure quality standards are met within the established budget constraints.
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and construction managers, to align cost strategies with project goals.
Project: NWSDS (Client - Dept. of Irrigation, Sri Lanka)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates, considering all relevant factors such as materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company financial goals.
• Implement value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
• Implement robust cost monitoring systems to track project expenses against budgets and proactively address any variances.
• Evaluate and process change orders, ensuring accurate documentation, cost impact analysis, and client approvals.
